alexf Posted Saturday at 21:40 Share Posted Saturday at 21:40 Won't be easy. Fulham have good athleticism all over the pitch like Bournemouth. Like that game though I think it's more about which version of us turns up. Signs again today that the players are bit leggy. Not sure how much was conserving energy or genuine tiredness. In spells we look excellent still as two of the goals showed today. Fingers crossed the players are at their best. Could do with Barnes getting fit soon to have that extra option off the bench. Lush Vlad Posted Saturday at 21:59 Share Posted Saturday at 21:59 Hopefully going to this. Fulham have been decent this season and whilst we weren’t in form. They beat us with ease down there. Assuming it will be unchanged again and no issues with that. Although Joelinton isn’t performing well at the minute. But I wouldn’t be against Botman coming in for Burn. He had a mare in the away game from memory and their movement and pace in their attack could maybe cause him issues again.

He has been a colossus most of the season.
Menace Posted Saturday at 22:53 Share Posted Saturday at 22:53 These lot have been good. Need to double down on Robinson as he's actually a really good attacking outlet for them. Smith Rowe blows very hot and cold but Iwobi has been very reliable for them. Bassey has a mistake in him so I feel he'll definitely make a mistake if we play with high intensity

Not a criticism of him per se and like I said. No issues if it is unchanged. I just thought he was very bad (who wasn’t) defending space and against any kind of movement last week and again down at Fulham. Certain games suit certain players. Like today. Botman was never going to start over him when they have an 8ft striker Burn has been brilliant this season. He still has his strengths and weaknesses and Botman is clearly the long term choice at LCB.
nemtizz Posted Saturday at 23:05 Share Posted Saturday at 23:05 Superb bit of justice that 1-0 win. De Cordova-Reid stamps on Trippier for the pen, Mitro does that and then a last minute winner. Give me that over a 4-0 win every day. (hindsight)

If we can manage the game better than last year then Forest is less intimidating now they’ve been shanked by Bournemouth.

M1tche Posted Sunday at 09:10 Share Posted Sunday at 09:10 This feels massive for top 3/4 chances. The 3 league game after are as tough as they come. So, we need to get this little run off to a start. 7 from the next 3 league games would be a great return

Personally, I felt we got that game wrong entirely from a tactical and personnel perspective but moreso from midfield. I didn't think that when the game started but it was proven to be the case. Not too dissimilar to the Bournemouth game last week in some elements.

Whitley mag Posted Sunday at 09:30 Share Posted Sunday at 09:30 (edited) I think the likes of Bournemouth, Forrest and Fulham cause us just as many problems at home than some of the more heralded so called big 6. There’s an expectation to beat these sides which is why we need to be even more disciplined, especially defensively and bang up for them. black_n_white Posted Sunday at 12:44 Share Posted Sunday at 12:44 This could be a slog, we’ve seemly struggled against sides like Fulham at home. Hopefully get a narrow win with no injuries. Any chance of some changes seeing we have Arsenal on the Wednesday after?
