Superior Acuña
Class that, never expected it to be so easy. Arsenal never turned up and we did. One of the best atmospheres I've experienced at SJP. Class, and especially great to be standing in the corner. Never heard Arsenal all night - couldnt tell if we just drowned them out Despite how great, real example of the damage VAR has done for me. I let myself go for the first disallowed goal, confident he was onside from my angle. For the two goals there was a cautiousness to my celebration after being burned, good, but not that all out feeling. The 'it must be the ball' chant was the perfect combination of gloating and taking the piss. loved it. Well done everyone, I really felt it made a difference. Very stressed now about getting into Wembley. Edited 6 hours ago by Superior Acuña
AyeDubbleYoo
I never celebrate borderline goals like I used to, I kind of put my hand in the air and wait. Can't help it but it's rubbish.

Likelylad
Honestly, similar to his goal against Liverpool years ago. He’s onside. There’s not enough in it to be able to rule it out. No surprise they keep pushing back semi automated offsides.

Respect for taking it in good humour. "we pay your benefits!" is we got from a few on Barrack Rd.

Superior Acuña
Was there any singing at all from Arsenal? Genuinely heard nothing at all, but could well have been drowned out.

Even if there's no doubt I'm still thinking about VAR in the moments after it goes in. Even if it's "that's not gonna get disallowed." Hey ho. Not at all complimentary. I don't think you know what the word means. Slagging your own team off is not being complimentary to the opposition. Ketsbaia
In 2023, it felt like the players went there as tourists. Wow, Wembley is huge. Wow, a cup final. Huge celebrations, get the camera out. This time, we've already done all that. Since then we've qualified for the Champions League, played six matches in it, bought a Serie A winner + are generally much more used to epic wins. There was no Gordon, no start for Isak and we had to play our third-choice GK. Of course, there's still time for injuries to come. But this occasion has us going to Wembley as serious professionals, none of this underdog vibe. Edited 5 hours ago by Ketsbaia
duo
Got work tomorrow but can't bloody sleep - just buzzing. Want to soak it all in - we've been starved of these nights for over a decade.
Heron
Here, honestly...Arteta is fucked. Howe has his number. Like Bournemouth have had ours. We are at that level...you win some you lose some. Arteta is found out. He cares more about the fights than the punches. Eddie Howe has humiliated him.
