Did they show the offside for Isaks goal? As they took an age to check - must be a toe nail if anything

They don't show the lines on the highlights but it looks incredibly, incredibly close.

They did (much later on), it was offside by a bit more than a toe nail, not much mind.

Another fair assessment from another Arsenal fan;

Still no mention of Newcastle.  How bad Arsenal were and even them being awful in the transfer market.  Oh and they need some sunshine in Dubai.  Not a mention how good Newcastle were.  Complete wankers!

Tbf their fan channels aren't exactly where you'd go for balanced coverage. I don't even want to watch to laugh at them. It's a wholly unentertaining enterprise imo.

I agree but to be fair, when we lose it's we were shit, we fucked this up, we failed to do that. He played poorly, this other guy played poorly. Never, Bournemouth (or whomever) were brilliant. I guess that is the role of a team supporter.

This sarcasm? Literally said we deserved it, hopes we win it, have great fans and travel well. Very complimentary.

Class that, never expected it to be so easy. Arsenal never turned up and we did.

One of the best atmospheres I've experienced at SJP. Class, and especially great to be standing in the corner. Never heard Arsenal all night - couldnt tell if we just drowned them out

Despite how great, real example of the damage VAR has done for me. I let myself go for the first disallowed goal, confident he was onside from my angle. For the two goals there was a cautiousness to my celebration after being burned, good, but not that all out feeling.

The 'it must be the ball' chant was the perfect combination of gloating and taking the piss. loved it.

Well done everyone, I really felt it made a difference.

Very stressed now about getting into Wembley.

Honestly, similar to his goal against Liverpool years ago. He’s onside. There’s not enough in it to be able to rule it out.

No surprise they keep pushing back semi automated offsides.

I never celebrate borderline goals like I used to, I kind of put my hand in the air and wait. Can't help it but it's rubbish.

Honestly I sometimes feel like I'm half-faking it a bit, cos I don't want to miss out.

Kudos BTW to some arsenal fans getting some light-hearted stick as I passed through Bigg Market who got out of it by chanting 'it was the ball'. Respect for taking it in good humour.

"we pay your benefits!" is we got from a few on Barrack Rd.

It's not cringeworthy to use slang from where you're from like, it's perfectly normal. Is it cringeworthy to say canny and howay?

Sorry blud.

Same lads. Even if there's no doubt I'm still thinking about VAR in the moments after it goes in. Even if it's "that's not gonna get disallowed." Hey ho.
