Least there's a few radgies on here in upper tier, cringe when people are posting "will there be atmosphere in this block etc" every block should be ganin radge man it's not Fulham on a Sunday early kick off.

I know a load of folk in my block who are regular away dayers and will sing all day long. Atmosphere will be great all over I reckon. People will be bang up for it.

TBF I know a lot transferred Wimbledon tickets and I can imagine Chelsea there was canny view did so there might be couple thousand who missed 2 games maybe?

Chelsea was half term so I expect that was the one that most folk missed (me included)

The arsenal semi final return leg honestly gave me some hope that people will sing, unfortunately when provoked by our coach and fan groups.

Need to instill that underdog mentality to stoke the fans up that aren't normally radge.

Just where we are as a fanbase I guess.

Regarding the atmosphere I’m confident it will be an improvement unless of course Liverpool score very early. Especially more than one!

Far too many people were hungover last time. Then the game itself I felt we went into pretty much 50/50 after the Semi before we lost Pope and also Bruno had not played previous 3 games.

The second goal coming so quick after the first and both after Schar had took a whack to the head IIRC just Sumer our old luck up. Wouldn’t be surprised if everyone felt a little sorry for themselves and it reflected in the atmosphere.

Going in as underdogs will definitely help this time round 🤞🏻

Possibly the scousers have 3 or 4 songs that drone on for a while, but work well in a neutral venue, hopefully something like Geordie Boot Boys takes off on the day and where loud, really hope we just don’t get that fucking horrific Bruno in the middle chant sung in response, or we’ll look fucking small time.

One big hope is that Wor Flags have managed to get like minded people together and the atmosphere takes off behind the goal in lower tier.

a lot more worried about this game after today's complete no-show

something about this club, whenever we get to a cup final everyone is just overcome with excitement/emotion and league form nosedives

I wouldn't mind except the last 4 finals going back to 98, we've failed to really turn up in any of them

Howe is still doing great with this group of players imo but until we actually win something, I think it'll be like this every time

If everyone is fit and 100% on it for the final I think we've got a good shot, but I doubt that will happen as very few teams can just turn it on when needed

Liverpool also the worst team we could play as they're super consistent and have the best squad by far

on the other hand maybe today's result will focus the minds for the next 4 weeks and also help to manage expectations (felt some were getting a bit carried away after the 9 game winning streak)

I'm no less or more worried than I was before today. I've never seen us play well in a cup final, and that goes back to the League Cup final against Man City. I was a kid then and not sure if they would rank as really top class opposition, but every final we've played seems to be against really top tier  teams.

To win against Liverpool, we'll have to make sure we turn up for once at Wembley, and actually play. That would make a change in itself.

This will be the 4th cup final of my life, we haven’t even scored in any of the others.

I just hope our mentality is different this time. Today pissed me off, was like everyone is already thinking of the final when we should be treating like any other game and making sure we get the business done when the time comes.

I really don’t want letters from families, Dan Burn reading poems etc. Just turn up and get the job done, or certainly give it a good fucking go.

Not that I’m expecting us to win or was expecting another final appearance so quick for that matter but the concern I do have over the final that I didn’t expect is us just playing once a week. It doesn’t seem to of worked out as we expected so far. Liverpool have a big game midweek before the final.

I thought that might work in our favour, but then Man City didn’t exactly suffer due to it yesterday. Hopefully impacts Liverpool more, an injury or two as a result of that game would be nice.

We had a full run up to Fulham also and looked flat. Hopefully not a repeat this weekend 🤞🏻

Having midweek games does not affect the elite clubs one single bit, if anything it benefits them.

exactly, also didn't affect MU in the slightest when they played Barca in midweek before beating us in our 2023 final, if anything it buoyed them and they were sharper as a result

It's obviously not always a positive, yeah they can rotate a bit but they're still playing a lot of the same players twice.
