Just feel as though it’ll be different this time. Can tell by the post match interviews last night that we aren’t just happy to be making an appearance at Wembley this time.

 

Howe will make sure we have an plan also. He will have been hungry on a personal level to put right the last visit there and will have us prepared tactically, see last night. 

 

The big European aways, the previous cup final, the quarter final at Chelsea last season will all stand us in good stead of playing massive games away from SJP.

 

Will Liverpool be as “up for it” as we are? They’re not unbearable, we nearly done them at SJP. We owe the cunts big time as well, as I said on another thread. 
 

Man United beat City in the FA Cup final last season. We are a much, much better side than them, and Liverpool are no better than what Man City were then. 
 

Would much rather be playing Spurs but we have a very real chance of silverware here.

I did not want Liverpool, but the league cup was dominated by Chelsea and then Man City, it hasn’t been easy to win for decades.

Indeed they did, but we were 4th, so there wasn’t a big (well any) disparity in quality really.

 

If you look at the last 10 years or so, there’s only really been Southampton and the mackems that have been ‘surprise’ finalists, so you’re very lucky if you manage to come up against someone of real lesser quality.
