Apologies if I’m being stupid or missing something obvious, but if he’s on the cup scheme why would you be buying him a ticket for games? I thought everyone on the cup scheme just had their payment taken automatically for each game.

Fucked me over completely. 

 

Forwarded one to a mate and sold one back to the club whilst paying for me and the bairn to attend the cup games via a second account as advised by the box office when I raised my concern about this exact scenario over a year ago. 

 

Now I'm stuck waiting for a ballot on Monday... Happy fuckin days eh. 

 

I have attended each home cup game and have an st, but the cup games aren't reflected on my st account, fucked over by trying to do things legitimately, won't be happening again. 

 

Seems obvious in hindsight like, at least I know for future reference.

Season ticket holders will be able to transfer tickets to eligible registered family members or friends if they are unable to attend a match.

 

Eligibility to access future rounds/finals will remain with the original season ticket holder.

Just got an email from the club advertising being able to watch the game in Shearers, £5 a ticket.

 

What's interesting though is they say open from 11am, were the game to be kicking off at 8pm, and I'm sure the club would be aware of this by now, I very much doubt they'd be advertising this being open at 11am...might be nothing in it but does suggest to me it'll be the usual 3pm or 4.30pm kick off.

That does say if they're unable to watch the match, in my situation it was so I could take the bairn so doesn't apply.  I had to buy a membership using a different email to my season ticket email. 

 

Honestly I'm so fuckin annoyed at this and trying to keep calm

I think that is referring to ‘if you get a ticket transferred to you for every round,  that won’t make you eligible for the final’.

 

Appreciate how a ST holder who was doing the transfer could see it differently like.

I was similar for the Bromley game in the fa cup. Resold mine but went with the bairn

Probably fuck me if we get there again this Season

im not a lawyer but do review contracts as part of my job. I’d be arguing “contra proferentem” might apply here. In contract law when a term is ambiguous the party that didn’t draft it should be favoured.

Didn't even need to scan the ticket (although seemingly the club have updated ticketing site to indicate this may be tracked in future) - my dad missed Brentford last minute due to illness and didn't go, but still ended up in pot 2 so wasn't penalised.
