With this being a 3pm kickoff and not on sky/tnt - where will be showing it in the city centre, if anywhere?

Probably nowhere. Best off going to a boozer somewhere on the outskirts

Best not to ask publicly mate since it’s illegal. There are places still mainly pubs outside of central Newcastle and social clubs but most won’t admit non regulars. Good luck though!

Honestly can't remember the last time I saw (or even heard of) a dodgy stream in a pub.

Guarantee in most pubs at least half a dozen individuals will be watching on their phones though.

I know of at least 2 places but I’m not going to name them - not saying the person asking has a motive but it’s naive at best to be asking on a public website. The fines now are punitive to say the least .

Edit 3 - bit you wouldn’t be able to just turn up at any of them due to the risk the landlords face you need to be a regular. Easy enough to find a stream on your phone / iPad. I’m lucky enough to be at the Etihad - good luck all and howay the lads :)

I used to watch some of the games on a dodgy satellite feed in a local CIU club - the irritating part is they didn’t like having that forrin commentary, so they’d hoy Radio Newcastle on over top - which of course was several seconds ahead of the game on the screen.  Absolute knackers :)

Obviously would fucking love a win but would take a point here and beat Forest all day long.

Howe knows that if we don’t pick up points in our next three champions league qualification will be very very tough.

I've heard that the players are coming out to the Million Dollar Mans theme and then all fans to put aside the rivalries for 3 minutes and belt out a rendition of Money Money Money.

Regardless of their form would snap ya hand off for a point...

Aye, we just never turn up to this fixture. Hopefully their nervousness at the back and our midfield ability leads to a positive result. Isak and Gordon (and even Murphy in current form) can cause them all sorts of issues.

The league games the rest of this month will probably either set us up nicely for champions league or make it a bit of a struggle.

No motive at all, maybe naive but just really wanted to watch the match, never get into town nowadays but there always used to still be the odd place showing it.

Lesson learned, cheers though!

A general rule of thumb - if the pub has a flat roof, has the curtains drawn and is in a postcode where your car insurance premium gets a '0' added to the end - you've probably found a place to watch it.

Enter at your own risk :)

That's what we do, always wondered about the legality of doing that, given we're not using WiFi. Assume as soon as we use their WiFi they are liable, just not sure how policeable it is.

I will be happy to be surprised but my suspicion is we will lose 2 or 3 of our upcoming games. Just feels very 'Newcastle' to me  We aren't allowed too much of owt too good.

Although under regular circumstances I'd feel we have a very good chance of beating these and Forest at home, this season.

Just hope we have a genuine focus on each, next game.
