[LCF] Newcastle United 2-1 Liverpool - NUFC LEAGUE CUP WINNERS

Recommended Posts

Aside from anything else Wembley looks much better in match cam than on the hard-camera shot.  Every frame of the match play looks like it could be on the cover of a Rothmans yearbook or something

I chanced upon Adam Pearson's video of the win, and I was really happy for him and the other obsessed superfans of his ilk. Imagine how emotional it must've been for that lot.

Just seen the crying one. FFS just put the phone down and enjoy it/drink it in.

Razor's commentary so good throughout. Really glad that recent Match Cams have featured shots of him and Ando.

And hopefully it's his words (rather than Drury's) that endure as the definitive soundtrack to the Cup win

Been said plenty of times before, but he really is an elite commentator.

The footage of him calling the final whistle is tremendous. Looks as emotional as the rest of us, but still manages to stay composed and deliver his words.

He's so good. We will lose him to national level I reckon.

Apparently he’s already turned down MotD because he wanted to keep doing our games (may have had other personal reasons too like).

Top lad as well, used to do a bit of work with him.

Just watched match cam this morning and I wasn't emotionally prepared for it. So glad I watched it by myself. [emoji38]

It's absolutely brilliant. Every single second of it. Safe to say that'll be getting watched several times.

2 minutes in, if I didn't know the result, i'd say we where winning that, the players to a man looks switched on, focus and utterly determined, with not a nerve in sight.

Love the little speech Trips gave as well.

I thought the same looking at the crowd before kick off.. Ours v theirs. Already beat, no fight, no desire. Crowd were outstanding :indi:

This lad gets me every time like. Everything about his face in that segment sums up the feeling at the time. Just absolute disbelief.

This was exactly how I was. I was tearing up every time I tried to join in with the first few singalongs. I would find myself looking round at the crowd to try and absorb what it all meant, scarf wrapped round my head, and randomly just shouting "YES!" or similar and twirling the scarf when my ability to speak without bawling returned.

The most euphoric, emotional, yet surreal experience I've probably ever had (when not intoxicated/pumped full of anaesthetic).

Didn't realise how good Tripper's challenge was to set up our 2nd goal. World class challenge.

On the topic of Trippier it’s very clear if it wasn’t already he’s still the Captain in all but name. I love Bruno and made sense to have an automatic choice this season to be the captain but you only have to watch the match cam if you were in any doubt who the real leader is of the group.

Not watched the Match Cam yet but thought this was very evident during the game itself. There's a moment quite early where Tripps is all bit pushing Bruno away from a discussion with the ref (in favour of himself).

I'd say that whoever was behind blocking a transfer has been very much vindicated. Really hope he carries this form into the rest of the season and, if this is it, he goes with a mostly unblemished legacy.

Love him to bits.
