Cronky
I think I now feel differently about my club. It's like a nagging tinge of failure inside me has been lifted. It's only now it's gone that I've realised it was there.

Last night 56 years later and Pozzy a man of 69 openly wept with fellow grown men and fellow starvees as number 2 trophy rolled in. Can I say to you all on here...great things are earned not gifted by right and yesterday the tactics the power intensity and game plan gave us our reward....all hail to Eddie and the team as RS said earlier the bucket list reduced and if you ever feel the need to grumble on here remember both this day and the 14 wasted years under FMA who tried to suffocate us all. Howe In!!! Same here was 13 then as well! Stood next to the dugout in

ScottishMagpie
In the elation post match I signed up to the True Faith Patreon stuff, just cos I want all the content about this match I can get. Was listening to the live reaction podcast recorded during the match whilst I was out walking the dogs earlier.... when it got the BDB goal I just started crying again. Thought I was over that but think I'm gonna be that way for a very long time!!!

TaylorJ_01
What an amazing day yesterday. Really special to celebrate it in Newcastle with such a lovely bunch of folk from here, will never forget it! The performance itself was unbelievable. To get a disallowed goal and come straight back and score takes serious balls. Then Pope's save was monumental. Trippier and Tino stepped up, Joelinton was a destroyer, Isak so clinical. Every man played their part. We made one single mistake and they scored, it just shows how high a level you need to play at, and we did it. Headed up to St James's last night and it was rocking. Great scenes. Not even this hangover can kick the feeling.

Bet they all lapped up Carragher's words about it being bigger than the FA Cup and are now backtracking like fuck. Next one: "We were always up against it because of Salah and Konate fasting for Ramadan."
Novocastrian
Apt that the trophy has 3 handles, one each for Bruno, Trippier and Lascelles. I liked that. .

Stottie
6pm here and just about recovered after getting up at noon. Still struggling to believe it. What a performance and the dream scorer in Dan Burn. Beating Liverpool so easily after all our struggles against them of late and without Gordon or Hall. Its a big step forward for the club. It mightn't be for someone else, but it is for us. Yorkie
Feels like bragging about a bet without showing your slip beforehand, but I feel like I can say now that I genuinely saw that coming. Didn't dare write it down in earnest, but I really did believe it. It just felt like the natural conclusion to what is very much the post-takeover era, before the guard presumably changes quite a bit in the summer. That group of people have given absolutely everything to that competition since 2022 - it feels like our name has been on it for ages now. To have beaten the teams we have along the way, and for only an unfortunate rick to have kept us out of the final last year. After those amazing performances across the semi I just knew we'd turn up. Such a richly deserved win.

Nucasol
Rewatched the Sky highlights for god knows the how many-eth time. My Drury hatred knows no limits but his “In goes Burn…It’s The Boy from Blyth” line when he scores has to be immortalised somehow.
