IF I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a Wembley field
That is forever Toon. There shall be
    In that rich earth a domestic cup concealed;
A cup that Newcastle won, against the odds,
Gave, every Magpie fan, a victory so rare.
Dan Burn of England, breathing English air,
Watched by the Tyne, on tv by fans at home.

Trippier was already in there but who else gets in our all time XI now?

I think Bruno's in there over Lee now. Honestly almost tempted to have Joelinton in after yesterday as well.

I think Burn get in there too ya know

There were so many classy moments yesterday - Eddie calmly doing the post-match courtesies to the Liverpool coaches before celebrating, Trippier and Bruno lifting the cup together, Yasir being invited to lift the cup, and the club photographer being urged by the players to join the celebration photo. Eddie has instilled such a good family atmosphere around the club, and I think that is one of the reasons why supporters of other clubs have been able to share the occasion with us. I don't think I'm being fanciful here.

So.. when’s the trophy parade?

Downie (just on SSN) said likely to be at end of season (because of international break).

There was actually three lifting the trophy, Bruno and Tripps called Jamal in and he's behind holding it as well, nice touch that.

Like everyone, it seems, I'm devouring so much content my eyes are stinging :pedro:

Canny little bits you miss first time around then catch on a further viewing. Like Gordon sprinting on at the end of the game here

11:12  Can just see him behind Howe and Slot

On reflection, the only tiny downside for me about this win was that it ended up only being 2-1. Isak was a whisker away from converting Barnes cross which would have made it 3-0, and that would have been such a fitting scoreline for so many reasons. But 'tis a minor quibble tbh.

We buried the cup? I fancied it for the cabinet.

So how are we all feeling this morning?

I don't feel it fully sunk in yet with me, you spend a life time hoping for something to happen, and i am pretty confident we've got bigger things also coming our way but to actually finally win a trophy almost feels like something that's not supposed to happen.

In a way its relief, but also upon reflecting we've had some amazing moments and matches in the last few years that also felt incredible even thought they weren't titles, and I'm very happy it's the same group of lads and manager that provided those moments that got to lift a trophy.

To become a member who have to answer questions only Liverpool fans would know, like how much is a pint of Guinness in Dublin?

I'm at work but no working getting done, feel like an emotional wreck. It is surreal seeing that trophy with black and white ribbons on it.

Town was great last night, car horns blaring everywhere, people everybody so happy and hugging strangers in the street!

Feels like a new start tbh, like this team doesn't have to prove anything any more.

I think Barnes as well not slipping it under their keeper from that little barnsy angle that he likes robbed us of a deserved scoreline.....but fuck it, I would have taken owt
