Actually looked a threat in games he’s been giving good minutes, whilst Wilson should be playing himself out of contention every time he comes off bench.

Has he looked a threat? Tbh, apart from a very promising first half at Birmingham, albeit on the wing, and a good goal against Bromley, again cutting in from the wing, he’s looked miles away from a PL-standard CF.

If Isak requires a rest, I'd imagine Gordon will start up top.

Hope not, he’s useless up front.

I'd go Barnes on left personally and bring Gordon on for 30 mins off the bench.

He's been injured and imagine he's the type to come on and really prove a point

Osula or Wilson really depends on what's happening in the match. I don't want Osula coming on if we're hanging on to a lead, but I'd want him coming on if we're looking to mix things up and find a winner.

That could be said for Wilson too unfortunetly.

And Wilson? A guy who’s off in summer and probably likely retiring?

We spent £15m on Osula, should be investing time on pitch by now for him. Isak breaks down, Wilson for 8 games is pure jokes.

Leicester are probably as close to a second  team as I have, so I feel bad for them at the moment.

However, they are doomed, so let’s fucking batter them and get Some juicy GD.

Yeah, agreed. The ‘chaos’ Osula brings is probably helpful when you desperately need a goal.

Otherwise, not really.

Wilson is currently a better CF than Osula. That’s why Eddie plays him over him.

Hopefully with another pre-season (and maybe a few less e-numbers) Osula may piece together the raw attributes he clearly has, into actually being a viable option as CF.

I would be tempted to bench Joelinton for this. At least he'll be available for Man United then.

Was thinking the same. He needs a rest and avoids the ban. Tripps needs a rest as well by the look of it, and Isak :buck2:

Has he really had a chance to show if he has what it takes? Apart from the two mentioned games, which suggests he might be able to perform against better teams, I can't remember him getting anything but a few minutes at the end of games where he's just been able to chase lost causes alone up top when opposition team is controlling the game.

UEFA's Technical Observer panel has named England's Anthony Gordon as the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Player of the Tournament. The panel said: "He played the whole tournament at a high level, scoring two goals and getting one assist."

14 defeats in 15 - 0 goals in last 7 - if ever a team is capable of turning and losing to this lot it's you know who!

I've got horrible flashbacks to being in the away end under Fat Sam when we lost 1-0 to Derby - who took 4 points from their tally of 12 and it should have been 6 bar a late equaliser for us at SJP to make it 2-2!

Granted, that was a very, very good goal, but his overall performance that day was pretty poor, given the opposition.
