Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Newcastle United - 04/05/2025

Will absolutely take that, very much so. Second half was so much better than the first,  but a point is probably a fair result.

I was so angry when VAR spend an age on that third penalty, was certain they where going to overturn it

Didn’t see the replay but I think they should have got a pen when Tonali brought their player down? Also their late header which they should have scored. All in all happy with a point, but not with the performance.

Dreadful performance on so many levels.

Yeah would've taken a point before the game but a performance like that hardly gives confidence that we can beat Chelsea, or even Everton.

Performances mean fuck all but it wasn't that bad in the end. We weren't particularly effective with the ball - usually taking too long or needlessly giving it away - but we forced our way back into the game. I think that's to their credit.

Annoying we weren’t more incisive as I thought they were quite shite. Barely got into our third until after we equalised in the second half. 3 points were there for the taking but I’ll take the 1. Got to do it in the home games. Shame the kick off time against Chelsea is so aids.

Would take the result given how bad we are and it’s an away game

but the way Willock played today warrants an exit the coming summer. We should have played Miley instead.

Don't think we played badly but definitely lacked quality in the final third. Good point in the end

I think Willock needs to go in the summer. He's a great athlete but for the level we want to be at doesn't have close to the technical ability needed and has zero intelligence

Will take that all day long. Really frustratingly poor performance as is tradition against this mob, so delighted with the point. Beat Chelsea and one of Arsenal or Everton and we're there.

Burn: 6

Livramento: 5

Bruno: 4.5
