I’ve enjoyed reading both sides of it and it’s nice contrasting personality types can express it on here, surely? You’re like the anxiety police. I just suspect some of the horse shit that's going to be spouted by a few if we stumble. You'll probably dust off the James Maddison argument. I’d love CL obvs.
Erikse
Even more important to get something now, Chelsea now have another free win next. You may say they had that anyways, but Man Utd have actually been decent against the top 7. They've just been horrible against the lower table sides. My point is if you purely look at their 15th position you'd think that they were a walkover regardless of the European position. Atleast I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that, because how many teams at around 15th has lost just 4 games vs top 5? However these results shows that they were not a walkover if it wasn't for this outside factor. Now, instead of being a team that can evidently pull a draw against any top side, it's extremely unlikely that they will be of any help. Vaj
Starting to feel nervous for this one and the closer it gets the more negative I am feeling. Joelinton will be a huge miss, but hopefully Eddie will pull off a masterclass. Just keep telling myself that ss good as Chelsea's recent form is, they should be beating Liverpool with the changes they made, they almost dropped points at home to Everton if it wasn't for a brilliant save from Sanchez and it took a last minute winner to beat Fulham following back to back draws against Ipswich and Brentford. So they haven't been overly convincing!

Andy84
We’re a big game team now I think. Especially at home. Home win
Slim
Brighton pumped them 3 - 0 and they drew with Brentford. Pretty sure we can handle them.
Maggies
If we take our chances, we win. We’re a better team than Chelsea and can hurt them with our pace and intensity.

alexf
if Joe was already managing this knee problem already and it hadn't been stopping him playing, then I can completely see him wanting to play through some discomfort again just to help see us over the line. If he got a serious injury because of it then obviously that would in hindsight be bad, but if he's been playing with this for awhile anyway then hopefully one more game wouldn't be the end of the world.
