It felt like it was two years ago people were calling Burn the weak link in your side, and he was getting torn apart by Antony. Now he's scoring headers in cup finals and is in conversation for team of the season. In fairness, he was playing LB than, and while he did a stand-up job for the most part, he was clearly very limited in that role. He has the perfect attributes for that CB role (bar pace) though, and its his stronger position, so its not a surprise he's been imperious since going into that role. Third in the league for most saves which is rare for a team that's been challenging near the top. It's normally mid-table keepers or teams going down and been cannon fodder that are near the top. Think he's been class. Tielemans is a good shout. Very underrated by many.

Heron
2 hours ago, duo said: Can't believe people have a team without Dan Burn yet have Gvardiol This is why I did this rule. I knew it'd force people to decide between say 4 players who would all be nailed down for me were there not to be a cap. Isak, Hall, Burn and Tonali. It's as expected with Burn missing out in place of Tonali for many, which personally I don't agree with at all. Isak has been the best in his position in the division and Burn has been too, with virtually no sub-par performances all season. Tonali only really got going about 40% into the season. He's helped transformed us, but for me Burn has been absolutely pivotal in all our success both on and off the pitch this season moreso than any other player. The only midfielder who can claim to be better than Fernandes since he arrived in England is De Bruyne. Don't make me get the stats out. 59 minutes ago, Heron said: Good player. Massive bell end. Heron
Just now, Froggy said: I’ll accept. We all love our own shithouses though. Aye - that is fair. I just don't think he's a particularly great leader from my admittedly limited experiences of him. Tend to find him being a spoiled brat and a bit of a similar ilk to Ronaldo where things like aren't his fault like ever. Could be wrong but that's my perception. That's just his attacking stats mate, which are always elite. His defensive stats can match up to most as well. Even in the likes of ball recoveries I think only Caicedo has won it more. He's just a monster all over the pitch. Brave of you to say it hasn't led to much though. He's saved us from relegation.
