Just me who's flabbergasted that Wissa is 28 years old, a little over a month shy of 29? Feels like he came onto to scene two seasons ago.

Good player. Wouldn't mind him as a stop gap if Howe and other decision makers feel his fee is worth it and don't have any younger alternatives with higher potential identified.

I don't mind this move at all and rate that their being pro-active rather than being led on.

Not the 'sexy' first choice but I love that we're moving on to plan B rather than wasting the window  potentially chasing ghosts.

Bodes well going forward.

Was happy when we were first linked, still happy if we got him even after these Ekitike stories. Could see why we'd bid €70-80m for a young player and have a PL proven player at his peak for half of that as an alternative.

That's a terrible effort. It's not mixed up properly to the point that you can still make out individual components. Clearly hasn't been microwaved and where the fuck is the cheese?

Just awful. 1/8.

45 in 137 for Brentford is fucking solid imo. In his prime, can play in the Prem, good enough to be an impact off the bench and to challenge Isak to keep his standards of play high but not a realistic enough name in the first 11 to cause friction? I'm in.

The nice thing about Etikite is that he would have had a whole season to bed in and be future-proofing the club for Isak’s departure next summer and we could still have had a world class forward leading the line 26/27. Wissa does not do this.

Why are we so certain Isak is off though?

Not many players do, though, do they?
