Woltemade’s scoring record doesn’t come close to Šeško. Sky hoyed some stat up yesterday which showed Šeško is the leading under 22 scorer in all of Europe’s top 5 leagues.

Woltemade's breakout season was last year, he just looks very technically gifted.

Aye definitely, I mean he can stay another year no issue, he's still very young. Only want crack really sucks for stuttgart though.

He’d be a similar level of risk to Samu. I think Šeško has a greater body of work to suggest he’s less of a risk than both for money involved.

Aye I'd have preferred Sesko over both. Just think Woltemade being so much more comfortable with the ball makes it easier to justify a daft fee than Samu.

Yep. He was the one I really wanted. I can’t see it not succeeding for him in the Premier League if he’s managed correctly - what would have happened under Howe.

I’d much rather go for either a proven PL striker (Watkins) or someone who has tonnes of attributes, has some experience in the league, but needs finessing (Jackson).

 

What he lacks with his first touch, he makes up with his hold up play. 

 

He's also got a couple of caps for Spain so theres clearly something there, although Spain are lacking somewhat in that department. 

 

I wasnt keen at first for the same reasons as you, but I think back to all those times Isak was left isolated and wasnt able to hold up the ball and wonder if this guy would add something different and allow us to spring more counters.
