Had hoped for a wow signing in this transfer window, but it looks like we'll have to wait another year.

Would of been nice for a wow signing but also good to beef up our bench options which were very thin.

Ramsdale

Thiaw

Elanga starter

Wissa?

Ramsey?

Means our bench options this season will be much better which is something we have lacked.

I'd be happy with Ramsey given his versatility and how much Eddie seems to like him. Hopefully we can get a decent deal with him having refused to sign a new contract and Villa needing more FFP wiggleroom.

Also hope we're still going after El Khannouss.

Would he be a rival for Gordon/Barnes, or Joelinton/Willock?

Definitely Joelinton/Willock in our system.

But like with those two, the option to play further forward if need be.

I see Ramsey as someone that could rotate with Joelinton.  Whereas El Khannouss is something totally different from what we have.

I doubt we go after both.  But I would love both and I think we need 2 CM's, personally.  Willock is never fit and whilst I think he has potential.  I'm yet to see what some see in Miley.  I don't think he suits any of our midfield 3 positions particularly well, either.

player with a history of hamstring issues in an Eddie Howe side that consistently finishes near the top of the sprints charts? What could possibly go wrong
