Was Klinsmann their last one?

Would Bierhoff or Klose be considered of that level?

I'll go for Klinsmann - one who could truly take a game by the scruff of the neck. Bierhoff and Klose were prolific, but I felt they both needed a strong team behind them to create chances for them score.

It is interesting that Bayern rated him higher than Sesko and Ekitike.

We kinda assume they did, but given they couldn’t afford Woltemade, did they just not bother with the other two as they knew they would be priced out, with PL clubs willing to pay the asking fee?

Out of the three, you could argue that Woltemade is the biggest risk in that he’s only really done it for half a season, but I guess it probably doesn’t matter whether you’ve done it for 6 months or 6 years in the Bundesliga, the move from there to the PL is always a bit iffy.

But not all clubs are managed by Eddie Howe, and that may end up being the difference.

Well OK, but no reports of trying to buy

I find this such a bizarre argument. Bayern having no reported bids for one player but bidding (Way under market value) for another doesn't make the other player automatically better

Ekitike has already shown how good he is in this league. Let's judge them both at the end of the season.

What the fuck is this balloon going on about?

So he is just saying we have a striker that can link play really well and the fast wide men we have are perfect for a counter.

But he’s managed to start waffling on about blood, the heart and conductors.

Get off the internet you absolute ballbag.

He makes a fair analysis of what Woldemade brings to us but in a completely unnecessarily convoluted and infantile way, could have and should have been a single paragraph

Just had a bit of a worry that he might be a bit like Zirkzee in the PL, can anyone assure me that it was an irrational thought?

It's not irrational at all, though depends quite significantly on your definition of 'a bit like'.

If I squint hard, Fiona Bruce looks a bit like Zirksee in the Premier League.

Woldemade is quite unique though in the footballing sense and will fit perfectly as the focal point in our attack, something I'd struggle to ever imagine Zirksee doing. However hard I squinted.

There's a risk attached to the deal just because of how many attackers have failed in the PL in recent years that come over from the bundesliga.

He has tons of potential though.

Klinsmann was my favourite player as a kid, even had a Germany shirt with his name on the drew a lot of abuse from my friends

Such an elegant player, just loved the way he moved over the pitch and took his chances.
