I think Wissa will definetly be preferred early on, due to Premier League experience.

I agree - If we're a goal or two up I imagine the BFG will replace Wissa for some minutes. If we need a goal I can see him being brought on to play as the second striker with Wissa.

But scared aswell. Injuries.

Don't jinx it :howe:

I am truly intrigued to see how our style of play is going to adapt with him in the side - can see Gordon and Elanga almost becoming like Inside Forwards rather than Wingers being feed through by Woltemade.

Barnes may be better suited to that than Gordon. Elanga done it to good effect at Forest.

Gordon just has the pace - if he could improve his finishing / composure he could be lethal.  I have a feeling Gordon will hit new levels this season.

I'm hoping he finds the level of 23/24 season. 28 G/A in 48 games, and I'm sure he won 4/5 pens too

Be a dream if that could become his standard

I'm particularly looking forward to our section of English patriots singing "10 German Bombers" in the away end at Leverkusen

“1 German striker”

”and Elanga from Sweden crossed one in”

Isak will regret the day he chose not to play with Woltemessi.

We could genuinely go 4-2-3-1 with the Kaiser playing just behind Wissa, might solve our creativity problems at home.

He won’t regret a thing.

I think Wissa will start early too due to his experience. Eddie will be choking to get the Wolf integrated though. I just hope our fans have the patience to let the guy get used to the league. You don't pay that much money for a bench warmer, I'd love if they played together. I'm not optimistic though. Why not play 4-4-2 against the teams we're 'expected' to beat, and be a bit more conservative against the big boys.

Ps good luck tonight Wolfy 🐺
