1 goal in 13, I think. Not good enough atm.

In a way it's fine as he's still finding his feet and with Wissa back he can work more on his game, there is a lot he needs to improve on but he's helped us with the good start he had to his career here.

The goals at Brighton and Everton were quality finishes and he has that in his locker. Looks to have zero confidence at the moment though. Glad Wissa is hitting his stride to give him time.

We also need to figure out a formation that works for him, because he is not a no.9 and has proven that.  Seems Howe is currently no closer to working that out either, but with Wissa back, I think we will stay as we are.  Howe will have to look at it over the summer, however, we cannot have a £70M asset who is not working for us, given our financial position.

We are not getting that money back either, IMO, so Howe has to work something out - change formation, or develop him as a player.

I think developing him as a player has always been the plan. That's why the Wissa signing was regarded as so vital (and why we were willing to pay as much as we did to sign him)

Should be our Teddy Sheringham behind a pacey striker. Think he can unlock defences but would require a big change in tactics.

Not sure that’s ever going to happen and Howe’s system works better with a quick forward who can press.

If he’s happy being another option when we need something different, brilliant, not sure he’ll be satisfied with that long term though.

One thing Wolte does when we begin an attack is point to where he wants the ball played - which is to his feet.

But we almost always ignore him and feed the ball out wide.

Granted, that pass into his feet would require an immediate, precise,  measured pass but we have players capable of doing that in Sandro and Bruno (and others) but we hardly ever do it.

Really annoys me that for a few seconds he in enough space to receive a ball yet we ignore him.

One thing I was thinking during the PSV game was that Joelinton was pushed up very high to support Wissa. Was working quite well.

We need to offer Nick the same. He always looks so isolated.

Difference is Wissa can press, Nick can't.

Based the last month. I think Joelinton’s attacking passes have been better than Sandro’s. His forward passing has become a bit of a liability.

I feel the same way in every game, and I'm always annoyed that Wolte isn't getting the ball.

The hype surrounding Big Nick is unfortunately over, and he'll probably only come on as a substitute after 65-75 minutes for now.

My enthusiasm has faded a bit, as I always want to see him on the pitch.

And yes, I know Toon is above every player. The thing is, I haven't been able to get inspire about Wissa yet...

I think we all realise that he is a creative number 10. Eddie has no place in the team for a number 10.

I'd be building the team around him because I think he's brilliant.

He's just low on confidence, he will bang a few in and back to the player we saw earlier in the season.

I think teams worked out how to play him. They get up close and bully him. He doesn’t have much strength or aggression so he doesn’t have much response to it.

He needs to bulk up Joelinton style over the next few months.

He was world class earlier in the season. Now he’s shite.

Get a grip

Sadly the only thing he's world class at is being weak as piss.
