I might honestly be harsh because when I've watched him this season he looks off the pace (probably due to all the injuries)

That's the only reason I question it, he clearly has talent.

I agree, he's not looked great so far this season, but he's not started many games so like Ramsey, might be a bit rusty. Like I said though, if he's part of the squad, then he needs to be good enough to come in when we need to give regular starters a rest.

Willock getting in ahead of Ramsey and Miley doesn't make sense at all, but I'm sure there's a reason for it if true.

You could make a case for all three of them starting tbh, if the intention is to keep the overworked midfield a rest before the weekend. But that's never going to happen.

Willock playing the wing over Elanga is also bizarre

lads, it's marseille. picturing a nice easy stroll to 0-3 or 0-4

Second in their league, already beaten PSG this season. Managed by De Zerbi who is familiar with us and just put past 5 Nice on Friday so also had an extra day's rest.

Not expecting it to be easy at all.

Will be watching this in Tenerife. last time I was here for champions league was the PSG home game.

Was thinking they're was loads more Newcastle tops than usual in the airport this morning till I twigged they were going to Marseille [emoji38]

You guys might be right that Burn is LB and Murphy RW, but that’s not what I was told.

Assume so far from your news the rest in terms of 11 appear to be the same from earlier just who goes where?

Playing Gordon as a CF? You'd get more goals out of luuk de Jong or Riviere.

I'd put Osula or even Barnes up front before Gordon again. It's a failed experiment that doesn't work.

Osula is injured and I don't believe Barnes would do any better.

Ah forgot about his injury.

Barnes has an eye for goal if you use him as a poacher and nothing else. There's still a question mark about him in that position.

For Gordon, there is no question mark, the guy just cannot play there.
