Interpolic
Burnley haven't been beaten by more than 2 goals since September (only twice all season). They're bottom 3 but they're a competitive side who are running most teams close-ish. I wasn't comfortable for about 10 minutes second half either but without watching every other PL game I'm assuming not many other sides are dominating from start to finish atm. Forum darling Emery has been squeaking games for months, good enough for them but not for us. Our confidence is clearly quite brittle and we're still working a few things out. We looked like a side who knew how many points they'd thrown away of late. Hopefully we can build on this now, being in the chasing pack for Europe despite flaky performances and results is a decent spot to be in.

Lotus
Didn’t see the game (had Series Added clicked on Sky but it still didn’t let me see it this morning). Saw the highlights which made it look like it was all Burnley apart from a couple of shots from us. Checked the match stats and it showed we had more possession, more shots, more shots on target, more corners, higher pass completion. Can’t have been that bad, could it? The ball into space? We play ourselves into so much trouble, we invite a lot of that pressure needlessly. We need to learn to look for the space the opposition leaves when they press as aggressively as Burnley did in that 2nd half and stop holding on to the ball for so many touches. Let the ball do the running and the opposition tire themselves out chasing, which I think we achieved in the latter stages of the 2nd half. Still not sure if that is down to our formation, tactics, nerves... or the players just aren't good enough to play possession football.

Not drilled into them and some not good enough. The number of times we could build play with an extra couple of passes and they refuse is telling. Intensity and get the ball into the forwards quickly is the order of the day. Pep’s tippy tappy shite would bore me to bits, but there’s a balance which Arteta has found this season. Of course they have better technical players like Eze, Odegaard and Zubimendi. The question is do we want these type of players? The link with Cunha was the most encouraging in the summer and next couple of windows will be telling if where going to evolve.
Pablo123
Was their goal offside? Was convinced he was last night, but the rules seem to change week to week.

They didn't even show us the semi-automated footage of what was keeping Broja onside. I think it was @duo who posted a screenshot of some lines that had been drawn on the way refs used to do it before the semi automated tool came in, and it was offside. But I've no idea where the picture was sourced from or who made it as it wasn't shown during the match.

Agree mostly, although I am not really one to criticise Pep's tippy tappy football like many. If it means keeping the ball rather than booting it long and losing it, I'll take it. There is a balance though, and tbf, even Pep is looking to go more direct these days. But when you come up against a low block, and a team that knows how to defend the set pieces, you need some guile and football IQ to unlock it. Not just individually, but as a team. I think we might have to be patient and see what sort of moves we make in the transfer market in the summer before seeing any real evolution in how we play. We live in an era of extreme parity, and PL teams are very, very good. Even the likes of Burnley are probably one of the top 100 sides in Europe and better than some Champions League entrants from smaller leagues. There’s a reason why the league table looks the way it does this year, with a dozen teams squished together at 25-30 points.

The Burnley game was on Sky Tennis (as they ran out of footy related channels) so any series record settings probably wouldn't have worked/transferred. Sky streaming service is not really reliable, but I don't really have another option. Not like recording it to a hard drive which is bulletproof.
