Must win for me, despite Leeds being much improved. It will be a tricky game but one we should win.

I think it’ll be a good spicy atmosphere, they’ll bring a chunk of fans. I agree though while they’re doing well recently we should be able to overpower them and Joelinton coming into form is much needed. Could do with a prime time Tonali too to run the show. Need the wingers to turn up whoever they are. Massive chance to cement some form and progress up the table a bit.

Their run will come to an end at some point. Think we can tank these quite comfortably if we're fully on it. (Which hasn't happened for a while admittedly)

This kick off time can get in the fucking bin. What happened to all midweek games kicking off at 19:45?

Yet another part of OUR game succumbing to the woke. They really have won.

should be beating these, they've won 1 in last 6 in PL so arent quite on the run of form some will have you believe.  2-0 home win.

Read a few people mention they'll bring a load of fans, surely they'll bring no more than Liverpool man utd man city arsenal spurs mackems and others who all sell out their away full allocation here?

I have never ever bet on us to win. The double whammy of losing coin and us failing to win is too much.

Put a few “safety” bets on. Would’ve probably had a months salary if the dippers came back to beat us in the final such was the size of my in play outlay. Never been as happy to lose money.

I'm the same with Hearts.

Guaranteed to lose if I backed us to win.

Why is it 8.15 for what purpose?

Wish people would stop using woke for stuff like this

I know (hope) it may have been in jest but was going to say the same. Being aware of social inequality isn't the quite the same as TV rights holders ploughing billions into the game. 😂

Presume it'll be this with Wissa, Trippier, Botman, Tino all coming in to start the cup game?

Pope
Hall
Schär
Thiaw
Miley
Joelinton
Tonali
Bruno
Gordon
Woltemade
Barnes

I think Hall needs a rest ASAP. He was pretty poor by his standards against Palace on the back of a tweaked ankle at Burnley. This game bigger than Saturday though so you may be right.

using it ironically (like the above) to take the piss out of the people who actually use it pejoratively is good imo, you daft snowflakes

It’s harmless/funny enough practice but it’s a bit weird when the thing in question is actually incredibly corporate and antisocial

tempted to get a ticket for this because there’s still plenty going but the prices just blow my mind. £72 for a ticket in the east stand to watch a team who were in the champo last season hurts.

Yeah figured with him and Tonali both coming off around 60 minutes, he should be good to do the same here with Tino replacing him later on if needed.

Aye I can only stomach the cheap areas usually, with maybe a platinum once a season as a treat.

Loads of £55 ones in the Leazes, Gallowgate and L7 next to the away fans. Even a few pairs knocking about. Bargain.

So Sky can extend how long people are watching for. Get some games kicking off at 7:30 and some at 8:15, with the theory being people will turn over to watch the second half of a later game having watched all of an early game.

It’s an American model from the NBA/NFL scheduling, except it works nowhere near as well as England doesn’t have different time zones.

Keep refreshing and you’ll get one in the Gallowgate I reckon. Still 50 odd bar mind.

The ticket prices are sickening. If they put them again, sorry, when they put them up again there should be some action taken by us as a fanbase.

i won’t hold my breath though. Too many “I’ll have your ticket” and “it’s needed for PSR” types.

The prices were always going to increase after the takeover and we started acting like a proper club, but this is ridiculous.

There's already loads in the gallowgate, i think he's just making the point about the price of the east stand tickets.
