Pretty good half, but as always we give away acres of space behind our midfield. It will probably never be addressed

It will when we hire a new manager...

Yet another Liverpool game that has me absolutely fuming at how spawny they are. Ekitike been shit for weeks and yet here he is. Horrible cunt. Slot will get that smug grin all over his face as the media slobber all over him post game should they win. Can't fucking stand it

We just fell apart after that goal and there's no need for trips to be so high, it's just too risky when they have that movement. We needed to just suck them in a break again and again as that was hammering them. No need to give 2 goals away

We are matching them everywhere except up top. Their strike force is just much better quality.

That's it like. Two chances two goals for them. Lethal finishing we just don't have in the squad. I thought Wissa would play that part but he's not really firing on all cylinders yet

Can’t wait for us to come out strong 2nd half, get close to equalising then Gordon getting sent off and inevitably losing 4-1 with Ekitike bagging 3 and Isak scoring from the stands.

tbf our manager was telling him to be that high and press.

No issues with Thiaw’s defending for the second goal, he has done that many times and always gets the ball. Fair play to Ekitike for hitting it earlier with a toe poke because if he lets it go to his left foot, Thiaw gets it

Liverpool just highlight the difference it makes having a quality striker - Ekitike in our line up we walk this game.  We've been the better side.

Lost our heads for the second.

That performance was very good though, we need to remain focused and come out again like we started. No reason at all that we can’t take something if we do that.

Lethal finishing from Ekitike. Oh what could have been.

Feels like neither side should be happy with that half overall. Both have moments going forward, but it’s due to both sides midfield and defence being a mess.

Liverpool lead thanks to a smart Etitike finish. The first should never be going past a goalkeeper.

We just don't get what we deserve when we play well in this graveyard of a ground. Those murdering cheating self important cunts always find a way.

Second half could be literally anything. We need to keep it as a basketball game and hope we can get another foothold on the counter or from a set piece.

Trippier needs to come off, he's absolutely cooked.

Trippier is costing us here. But also the midfield are allowing far too much space.

We should have locked that half down, 11 men behind the ball and got in 1:0 up and instead we played right into their hands and have gifted them the lead.

So frustrating to undo all the good work.
