There is a real problem in our fanbase now of so called ‘ fans’ taking pleasure in their negativity coming true seeing that as a ‘win’

Saying they are not bothered about a Semi final, saying they wish the manager plays a second side when 2 goals down, criticising everything. Willing their negativity to come true so they are ‘right’

Now we are at another level can we not just ENJOY it

It’s honestly just draining

They need instant gratification.

Not worried about the long-term or the instability.

We have a successful manager and right now the team is going through a bad patch of form..  for a multitude of reasons, but people don't want to see or hear any sensible reasoning.

Tonight was great, this seasons been great. I enjoy the flexibility in our approach to the opposition and how we look solid in midfield.

I'm buzzing letting 7 goals in in less days.

Just messing.

It's helped make this site toxic like a 64-calorie 4chan. Everything is shambolic, appalling, pathetic, unforgivable. And there needs to be inquests for every damn thing. But when it's good, some pretend like they don't do this every time it gets a bit dodgy.

NWOAT

There’ll always be uber negative, miserable people and head-in-the-sand positive people both in football and in life. Same with football fans; some spend matches waiting to jump on the manager or a player’s back at the first opportunity and there’s those who think the sun shines out the club’s or manager’s arse. With us this season however the truth is somewhere in the middle. And to not get worked up about it.

I'm just enjoying the ride after the hopeless Ashley years. It's nice to be competitive and have a team and manager that I can be proud of. Honestly I'm more pissed off about our fans reactions to losses than the losses themselves right now.

I have plenty to say about people being negative, but ultimately that's their own decision, what I can't stand is the 'dementor' aspect where some want to suck the life out of others so they have some company.

Reminds me of a mate who used to do it at parties. Everyone would be having a nice time, but if he was having a bad time he'd make sure he dragged someone down with him.

I wouldn't be if it wasn't the same cycle every season. This season easily has the most justified reasons for it. I'd accept that if it wasn't groundhog day

yes it's vampiric behavior that I can't stomach. It's Colin from What We Do in the Shadows

I can't thank you enough for this thread. The moaning fans on here do my head in. At least this subject will keep them at bay
