Tottenham Hotspur vs. Newcastle United: 10/2/26 @ 19:30 (TNT Sport)

Not the line up I was expecting like but at least he dodges the 'predictability' jibes, absolutely no way pervert Frank was expecting that XI.

As far as Howe's concerned then I don't think he's got anything to lose by shaking it up totally - it's not like the 433 has been successful recently is it?

Looking forward to tonight, confident with the attacking lineup, good reaction with a few changes made by Eddie. Fair play to him I think he’s going to press the life out of them.
Seems similar to the PSG lineup which after the first 10mins we settled into the game.
Please take our chances tonight, we’re due a performance, especially away from home! HOWAY!

Can’t see anything other than a comfortable spurs win having seen the lineup tbh. It’s all our weaknesses into one lineup. Still, it’s not like any other lineup has worked recently.

Isn't it a 433 though? Strange looking one I guess.

Think it's more a line up to sit back and counter tbh. Can't really go high up on the pitch and press with that defence.

Imagine being "Howe In" after seeing that line up FFS [emoji38]

Good point. He should stick to what hasn't been working.

Sorry, I meant the 433 with alternating Wissa and Wolt. Starting Gordon I think changes it into more of a 4-6-0.

Fuck it, we're in a huge rut and maybe it needs something insane/ridiculous like this to get out of it?

one eye on the cup game on Saturday surely

could be season defining that

Assume he's playing with no strikers here because he plans to play with both on Saturday. The league is pretty much a lost cause at this point anyway.

Well he does in regards to Trippier who is partly to blame for a couple of goals each game lately.

Do you think he'd continue to pick Trippier if Tino and Miley were available?
