Superior Acuña
When was the last time we lost 5 of 6 at home in the league? (And only one of those against top 4 opposition)

Rayan was quiet afterwards and Tripper played better than Livramento at RB.

Kid Icarus
Aye, I'm a proper idiot me, you got me, devastating. I dunno what you're attempting like, seems like you're a bit insecure about whether people see you as clever or not. Whatever it is it's embarrassing. TheInfiniteOdyssey
There’s not much of a defense you can mount for Howe for this performance imo. Supposedly we’ve had more time on the training ground, but we looked ragged, sterile and under-coached. I’m a bit shocked at just how poor a team we are currently. Sandrotastico
Just back from the match. Not the worst performance - but another one that ultimately meant nothing. There’s a growing sense of players going through the motions: doing just enough to avoid criticism, but nowhere near enough to actually win a game. Barnes and Elanga deserve special mention, unfortunately. In very different ways, both exposed their limitations today - and neither came close to the level required. Their first goal, and the chance just before half-time, summed it up. Tino looked completely switched off. Like Barnes, it was a sequence of passive, half-hearted actions that gave off the impression of player lacking urgency and accountability. That’s the worrying part - the rot feels like it’s set in. For a manager who’s built everything on intensity and momentum, we now look flat and predictable. And that predictability is hard to ignore. Most of us could see the 1–2 coming. The pattern is familiar: slow, crowded build-up play, players stepping on each other’s toes, trying to force intricate combinations we don’t quite have the players to execute. 3/10 - Shite. duo
Just before the second goal Tonali ran the length of the pitch pressing the ball - Osula joined in I think - possession was then lost but there was no other Newcastle player who had joined them which gifted possession back to Bournemouth who subsequently scored. That in a nut shell sums up our problems.

Hall was still one of our better performers today and Burn isn’t a LB. It’s hard to justify some of Howe’s decisions if he’s bringing off basically our best player

It’s hard to justify some of Howe’s decisions if he’s bringing off basically our best player Hall wasn't great today like, their goal came down that side, they should have scored another, and Rayan had the beating of him all first half. Tino faired better and Burn only came on because Tino was injured. Attacking-wise there were other subs that should have come though, Barnes was really poor. Elanga too, albeit Murphy was no better. Would like to see Osula RW with Woltemade CF at some point, not necessarily because they're a good pairing, but just because the alternatives are yielding no rewards.
