Well, at least no one can make Nick the scapegoat here. He's hardly playing anymore.

Hoping someone with a bit of tactical nous can come in and make him a player here, or at least use him in the right position.

My first choice would probably be cutting losses and selling him to bayern for what they originally wanted to pay.

No worries. We all make mistakes.

S-tier patter, truly sublime.

My position on Howe is already known and it's firm, I'm not going to suddenly abandon a conviction over a result and performance I expected.

I just wonder how much damage specifically the Isak stuff has done to some of the players, and how many of them actually agreed with him about broken promises etc. Not all, but a lot of their mentalities have dropped off a cliff since the summer and when the going gets tough this season they just don't seem bothered at all.

I also miss having Staveley and Ghodoussi and the culture they generated in the club, where the players actually seemed to interact with them and they cared about each other. Going from them to useless faceless twats in suits can't have been good for morale.

On Jan 18 we had 32 points off 21 games and were still in 4 competitions, if finishing in the CL places is what "being in the league" means for us. We were  were sixth in the league and above Man U on goal difference.

I think the Isak thing hit the players, but only for the first few games, before Wissa and Woltemade were signed. The Isak thing was also compounded by Gordon playing striker and being sent off for violent conduct. This was unfortunate and hurt us, but not in a "miss Isak" kind of way. It hurt us in a "best LW and striker banned for three games" way.

It hurts to say it, but after the turn of the year, we've entered a slow-motion collapse.

It also took us till the end of November to win our first away game in the league, since April last season.

This isn't just a 'this season' problem, it was a bit dodgy last season till that 9 match winning run, which spurred us on towards the Cup Final.

Just been saying the exact same to my father, that and says what you like about Wissa but he proved last season he can do it and has averaged one goal in three I believe throughout, on top of that we have internationals scattered through the squad. I hope we get someone in to make something work.

Another woefully clueless, disjointed, honking performance. Became reminiscent of Leicester at home under McClaren at times.

Can’t see where a point comes from. We’re fucking dogshit.

You expected us to lose, be shit and are OK with it. Because it's Howe? Crackers, that.

We’re a very average team at the minute. There’s a case to get rid of just about every player apart from Hall, Bruno, Miley and Ramsey imo. The rest either want away or aren’t good enough. I’m a Barnes fan but he was shocking as the rest today.

2+2=5, I'm not okay with it, but I did expect it because of the form and confidence of the two teams at the moment. Tbh I expected 1-3 and Bournemouth to bum us, just because I expected it doesn't mean I'm okay with it, but it also doesn't suddenly mean that the thing I think needs to change before everything else is the manager.

OK, didn't read like that. Just sounded like accepting we're shite (as long as Eddie is supported) 'The lady is not for turning' is strong in you, I know one result wouldnt change a thing.

Why do you think it wouldn’t? If you rate Howe I mean.

Can’t blame PIF at this point if they wanna fuck it off and try someone else. That was abysmal again.

You mean the manager or the club? 😬

Aye I bet you saw him keeping us up and finishing 4th the next season coming for a while too. You've got it all sussed like.

In no small part due to the manager not looking like he's got the enthusiasm or energy to. Even if its only a few percent he's visibly flatter
