Look for the Claire’s Accessories,
The simple Claire’s Accessories,
Forget about your worries and your strife,
I mean the Claire’s Accessories,
That's why a Ben can rest at ease,
With just the Claire’s Accessories of life.

Nothing there isn’t new, except for the meeting at Matfen Hall last week which would be impossible to verify or dismiss.

Is there any hassle with being asked for ID for tickets at SJP, particularly at the 1892 club? Normally my tickets are in my name but heading on Wednesday with someone elses name on it because I bought it off him.

Generally no, although I have heard (unverified like) of some instances of checking at a recent home games. Although it always seems to be where they’ve somehow had prior knowledge that they aren’t being used by the named person.

So basically, if you’re just using a ticket given to you by a friend or family member, and there’s been no discussing it on social media, you’ll be fine.

It's ridiculous that there's no facility in place to change the name on a ticket if youve sold it for face value to someone you know.

Maybees because someone could sell their ticket to a random for £100s on the agreement that they both pretend they know each other and the buyer only paid face value

Agree. It's absolutely daft that they have nothing in place.

Plans change, people are unwell etc. But at the moment you're breaking the NUFC law if you sell / give your ticket to someone you know because you can't make the game.

Not if the club had to be informed of the change, because if an account is changing the name for every game then it'd be easy to identify and investigate.

Is our participation as host for Euro 2028 games, hindering any decisions on what we plan to do for the stadium? I don't see us doing an expansion, and that would surely affect hosting the games but could building a new stadium in Leazes cause disruption to the city's traffic, safety, access and etc during the tournament as well?

The full schedule of games will be unveiled on 12 November by the way.

How do you evidence the transaction was face value?

Could set up a ticket transfer system on the site where the payment can be made too. I dunno, but if they're gonna be strict about names on tickets there should be a way to change the name on it if you can't make the game and want to give it to someone else.

But what’s to stop the two people making an extra payment to each other over and above?

Just use the same system they have in place for transferring ST's. It has to be tranfered to someone with a ticketing account.

If it's allowed for ST's then allow it for members. There's nothing to stop someone with an ST from selling me their ticket above face value and then doing the legit transfer.

But if a member is transferring more than a certain % of their tickets per season, then NUFC investigate why. Or put a limit on how many times a season a member can transfer a ticket.

Nothing but you're never going to be able to stop that. My main point isn't about money anyway, it's about being able to put someone else's name on your match ticket if you aren't going to use it and want to pass it on.

The club will say they are being strict about it to stop touts which is the only reason I brought up face value but there's nothing that can be done about someone paying extra on top via another platform or cash.

I think especially now when it's so hard to get tickets you're probably going to get a lot of people buying from other ticket holders. It's mainly if it becomes an issue with checks.

You stop it by creating the fear you might not get in. If the market dries up so does the touting. I think we all know and agree it’s a massive ball ache and effort to get yourself a ticket when going on sale a week or two beforehand. The club will do also.  So I’d always ask why after all that effort would you decide not to go to game. Whatever system you are asking for can be used by the touts. Hence why ST holder touts has increased as an official system has been put in place with a 10 game cap that I believe isn’t being robustly enforced.

There will never be a perfect solution to ticketing. Ultimately the club are giving you the pass to do it by sending the tickets on individual emails easy to forward whilst by all accounts not checking at any of the turnstiles.

And around we go again…

Even Sunderland now have the Amazon Fresh style pick up and walk out kiosks.

Time for us to up our game. Something like that would hopefully put an end to the long queues of people just lining up across the concourse.

Water is wet.

It amazes me that people are thick enough to think that you can submit secret planning applications.

The whole point of a planning application is that the public can view and put across their views.
