Guest
Looks like Man Utd have released some details about their feasibility study. This is how you do it btw, PIF et al. Better this than just the "we have completed the study" in my opinion. https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/old-trafford-regeneration-task-force-update-on-17-january-2025
Miggys First Goal
Maybe we’re getting a fancy new website set up, with nice images, to unveil our own study. Yeah, that’ll be it.
Ben
I hope the new stadium is rectangular in shape rather than a dome oval, big massive high thing

Those of us who actually work in the industry know this, but that would be to criticise our owners, which cannot be countenanced.

Please don’t bungle this, NUFC.

Better this than just the "we have completed the study" in my opinion. https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/old-trafford-regeneration-task-force-update-on-17-january-2025 Man Utd are basing their plan on staying at Old Trafford, so their PR doesn’t need to contemplate fan outrage at the prospect of moving locations. It’s either revamp current stadium or build new stadium, but both in the current out of town site Not defending PIF, as I think they could be doing a much better job on comms But if the conclusion to their feasibility study is that we’re moving, then they need to manage the PR very sensitively and slowly start to prepare fans for the news Because based on chat in here, even moving a few hundred yards to Leazers Park will cause ructions Edited January 19 by bobbydazzla

Iwantcurlyhair2
Anyone else had an email yesterday confirming winning a £100 voucher for Stack and then receiving another one today saying sorry you haven't, we have a glitch. I suppose if they honoured the emails we wouldn't be able to sign anyone this month.

J7
The chilli loaded chips are nice btw. In other news, I see the government are going to use powers to push through all sorts of big new developments, such as a third runway at Heathrow, other airport extensions and a huge Universal Studios down south. Would be nice for a brand new stadium or stadium development to get the same treatment and not be held up for years. Edited January 20 by J7

I think we’ll get permission if they go for it and still expecting to be blown away when we see plans around new stadium. Think they’ll throw the kitchen sink at the new stadium option to get everyone on side.
Colos Short and Curlies
Is there a reason why all stadium tours are unavailable after March? Was hoping to get up either Easter week or late August but all dates to the end of December are unavailable

LFEE
Ryder latest article claiming Amanda & Co definitely planned to revamp current stadium and not move anywhere. 60k to 65k max. Alternative option 70k. We all know what happened to them… I noted the guy who refused to be name who doesn’t want any radical change has happily been going for 40 years from his same two pubs. So self aware of him https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-insiders-see-amanda-30840139?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar Edited January 22 by LFEE
