An Emirates FA Cup scheme that will automatically trigger the purchase of the existing Season Ticket seat (subject to availability) for any home 2024/25 Emirates FA Cup matches (does not include the semi-final or final, if reached). What will happen if the club progresses to the Carabao Cup Final or the Emirates FA Cup Semi-Final/Final? Priority access to tickets would be given to those who have already opted-in to the respective Cup Scheme or package. Going off their current capacities that’s the following percentage of season ticket holders. Man U 68% Spurs 73% Arsenal 67% City 75% If we’ve got 33k season tickets, might be slightly generous number, that’s us at 63% the lowest from that lot. Should we move into a new stadium housing 70k, if we didn’t take any new season ticket holders our percentage would dip to 47%. What should be taken into account with the above clubs and Liverpool is that bar City perhaps, they benefit massively from day trippers to boost match day sales. I think leaving our season ticket numbers at 47% would be a massive risk with such a big ground for the less attractive fixtures. Allowing members to apply for away tickets and be on an equal footing for cup finals etc would be a start. You can’t have a 70k stadium and the same 25k locked in to all the benefits, as there will likely be another 25k who attend nigh on every game but through whatever circumstances don’t have a season ticket. Definitely, and let's be honest Man city haven't had the day trippers that Liverpool, Man Utd even Spurs and Arsenal being in London. Living in South for last 11 years I rarely get train up as cost is always 3 times more than driving. London Manchester etc have major airports as well...
