Are they just taking the SDA lettering off the white panels, or are the panels coming down too?

Pics on the newspaper websites looked like it was just the lettering coming off, and If they leave the panels up, then they may just replace the logo with a Wonga.com logo?

I'd expect Wonga adverts up there. If (and it's a sizeable 'if') Wonga have paid anything for this, you'd expect their logos to go up, even if the name is back to St James Park.

There's a chance that won't happen until the end of the season though when the Virgin deal ends.

Wish they would just take the shit white signs down too, not needed even if they want Wonga showing, and appoint someone with a bit of an idea about marketing. The fonts, the colours, everything is shit, cheap and tacky.

Got to say, the photos apparently showing them leaving the white boards up suggest they're merely putting some other advertisement up.

Likely a mixture of Puma/ Virgin Money this year and then Wonga come the summer.

This story makes out it will only be the name of the stadium back up. Very surprised if thats right.
