Don't forget we have travelled to the likes of palermo who were riding high at the top of Serie A and won and have now gone 12 games unbeaten in europe this season. I watch most of their games in Europe and they're absolutely class on their day. They should have won the UEFA cup 2 years ago but Sporting knocked them out on a silly rule (both team scored 1 goal in extra time but 1 goal counts as 2 for the away team). It was one of the best matches I've ever seen. They're a quality team and Newcastle's defence isn't strong enough to hold them out. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Palermo played there reserve team that night and AZ are no mugs, just because they play in a lesser league doesn't make them any less dangerous.
