The Bonk
I back this, especially with this shite revolving around Nobby and his 'supposed' wanting out. Howay Ron Geremi!
Power NUFC
geremi congrats! i know you will deliver the goods
James
Sam still hasn't decided on a long-term captain yet, but the captaincy is now certainly Geremi's to lose.
Cajun
Poll re-set?
ChrisJbarnes
abdoulaye faye or cacapa i say!
Shak
Joey Barton will be our next capatin, I'd be shocked if it's anyone else tbh.
Cajun
I would probably have to go with (flavour of the month) Beye. Wasnt he captain at Marseille? Plus he is a guaranteed starter for me.
gonufc
Joey Barton will be our next capatin, I'd be shocked if it's anyone else tbh. I certainly hope not
Dave
Joey Barton will be our next capatin, I'd be shocked if it's anyone else tbh. Probably, aye.
Troll
Joey Barton will be our next capatin, I'd be shocked if it's anyone else tbh. I think Smith's more likely, he always gets given the armband when Geremi gets taken off.
GM
It'll be Alan Smith that gets the captaincy next. It's what Mr Ashley wants after all.
Sparks
Polls like this should be made public, people can't hide away then.
Thespence
I would be revolutionary & tell the fuckers no one is captain as we want 11 leaders on the pitch & the armband would be passed round due to the fact you have to have a captain. Failing that: Beye - Looks like he could be a leader of men. Gezza - Maybe not an ideal skipper, maybe one of them club captain things would suit him better. Barton - Looks like he would be a natural leader on the pitch.
fredbob
What about Cacapa? Seems to tick all the boxes in my book.
Jamie
Who on earth voted Carr and Ameobi
Troll
What about Cacapa? Seems to tick all the boxes in my book. Did you see him get his man of the match award yesterday? Doesn't speak a word of English! I think that's one of the biggest reasons Geremi got it, he speaks French, English, Spanish and Turkish, so he can communicate with everyone in the team. Unlucky Luque
Beye, Barton or Smith. Even when they have bad games, they still seem have good workrate and high moral.
Kev
i voted cacapa, if not him i would say beye
Troll
Why would you pick a captain who doesn't speak the same language as most of the squad?

I thought he was already a popular guy around nufc. Surely in todays modern multicultural teams, language barrier isnt too much of an issue on the pitch? I do see your point though!
