hakka
We did so well to get rid of him. Talented player, but injury prone nightmare.

Thespence
While looking for the Dyer breaks his leg thread to post that the he was due to return to fitness & play against Ipswich Town it has been reported that he has suffered a new stress fracture to the right leg he badly broke in August last year. The article I read it estimated that he has missed 1445 days due to injury/mystery illness. Also read post 2 in this thread, that chaps wish came true. Guest HCh
Selling Dyer was the best business ever. Wonder if West Ham would buy Smith as well?
LiquidAK
I actually feel a little sorry for the guy, just can't get a break. (No pun intended)

Baggio
Selling Dyer was the best business ever. How? Try and answer it if you like lad. Unless you think he would have still broke his leg if he was here?

Unless you think he would have still broke his leg if he was here? Of course he wouldn't, but I doubt he'd be a picture of health either. We're well shot of him and his injuries, whatever they may be or however he sustains them.

Shame he's better than anything we had last season in midfield, I suppose people miss that point when they say getting rid of him was the best business ever. There were games last season when we were crying out for someone with Dyer's attributes in midfield, someone who can run with the ball, stretch games and get in behind defenders, I'd bet if he was only fit for half of our league games we would still have had more points on the board than with the shite like Milner and Geremi in the team. Kev
Kieron Dyer had one good game every 10 games. Thats not good enough. He got injured a few times every season, always the same recurring injuries. Best bit of buisness weve done to get shot of the little greedy prick.
S.S.R.
You would have thought with his dedication and the monastic lifestyle he led, that he's have more luck with injuries. What a shame.

Teasy
For fuck sake baggio, the way you go on you'd think Dyer only started being injury prone when he went to West Ham.. Of course he wouldn't have had exactly the same problems here, he'd have had different problems, the lads a fucking mess! As much as I liked him as a player (and I can still see his flaws as a player despite that) it was fantastic business to get what we did for him, West Ham got well and truly ripped off. I've said he'd miss games through injury here, but even in the 20 games he'd play a season he would still offer more than Milner, Geremi or that wanker Smith who was brought in to replace him. It'll be good business when I see a better player in his place but until then I won't be jumping for joy.

It'll be good business when I see a better player in his place but until then I won't be jumping for joy. I agree he offered much more then many people give him credit for when fit, but his injury record was shocking and is now even more shocking, which is why I think we did well to sell him. Of course I also agree that we should have replaced him, instead of buying shit like Smith.
