Neil Taylor will not be Jose Enrique replacement

Sunday Sun - Mark Douglas - ‎15 minutes ago‎

NEWCASTLE United expect to wrap up a deal for Swansea starlet Neil Taylor in the next few days – however, he will NOT be coming to St James' Park as Jose Enrique's replacement. Despite a series of deadlines, United have not been informed of Enrique's ...

I still think we won't buy another left back. Enrique's looking to leave but it might be that he just sees his contract out and Taylor is probably cover in case he leaves at the last minute.

Kadar might have a break out season to, hope so anyway.

Notw reckon he will stay

stay as in sign a new deal or stay as in lets wait and see what happens possibly running down his deal to get a nice lucrative bosman move

It's a bit of a none story tbh at the end of a piece about Krul being no.1. Says he could stay despite only having 12 months left

Paper's in not knowing anything shocker.  They don't have a clue what is going on with Enrique.  Though the club need to ask Enrique for a decision soon.

He's clearly just holding out for a move but the club simply can't afford to wait for him to make a decision. We need to start forcing the issue, even if it makes us look like the "bad guys".

We'll sell him to the club her wants to go to for a compromise fee, probably £6-8million. It won't happen till the season's about to start though.

Had been keeping a glimmer of hope alive. But looking like he'll be off now.

Too much value in him for the club to do anything but sell if he won't commit.

Aye he will end up leaving on the cheap, right at the end of the window. We MUST replace him though.

Pardew admits: Enrique doesn't want to do a deal with us http://t.co/7qTaqe9.m?id=3138379&tid=638956&cat=NUFC_News #NUFC

Read the quotes:

“We have been asked to make him an offer but there has been no progress since then. I still hope we can do something but at the moment we’re still waiting for Jose.

“I don’t think there’s anything more I can really add on that situation at this stage.”

Nothing new really.

Day off today after spending a lovely week just with my friends. I can see you tomorrow love. Bsitos

Might see more action from the club/José seeing that he has been away for a week..

We only offered him the contract, what, about a week ago? Give him time to mull it over, can't just expect an instant decision.

You think a week is an instant decision? Its simple really, does he want to stay or not. Pretty easy really.

He's been pissing us about since about October/November time when the whole, "not until we're safe" rubbish.
