That's fine but the issue is we don’t really know what the PIF reasons are. I mean, in the example I gave we could have left £15m on the table, how much more are they expecting it to increase by to make that worthwhile? It suggests to me that they are very much in business mode and are looking for non-related parties rather than looking to push the existing rules to their limit.
-
Is it the zero goals or zero assists you think he has to offer?
-
No, but there’s still not far off 1000 left at 0 points, so if they want to sell them all, they’ll probably have to open it to members.
-
No it's saying that we will get the premier league clamping down saying you can't increase. I trust PIF reasons more than a person on a message board, who hasn't a clue what or what not has been tabled. The APT ruling will be out soon, so as I said no hiding then.

Shit, I'd have him Miley and Longstaff as Midfield 2 for next season get rid of Willock.
-
We do not.
-
Sure, you can argue that he did well with limited playing time (which is correct), but playing time being limited doesn't make a signing more worth it (it's actually the other way around). Therefore when judging a signing it makes more sense to look at the contributions over a season rather than amount of minutes. I don't mean to slag off Barnes here, I've been one of those who defended the signing as decent when people didn't rate the signing (which is probably covers about 70% of his time here). Lets see what the opinions are like if he has a poor 2 month spell at the start of the next season.

Say we proposed Saudia Airlines as a training ground sponsor at £10m/year. PL say no, max is £5m/year. In what way is saying "OK, well we won't do it at all then" the best strategy? Remember nobody is stopping Saudia paying the £10m, it's just that the PL will only allow us to put the £5m towards the PSR calculation. Either the APT rules get thrown out and we can start claiming the full £10m/year towards our income or they don't and we're leaving £5m/year on the table. That's £15m since the start of the first full post-takeover season.
-
I'm sure we will get players in, but i very much have my doubts about us getting enough in to not suffer badly because of the extra games in the CL. We've had tons of time to prepare and improve the team and squad. Hopefully my gut feeling is wrong and we can bolster the whole squad to cope with the extra games.

It will end up being Barry Glendenning.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

That's 9 goals and 4 assists in half a season of football. We got by with Gordon having an average season because of Barnes. Worth every penny. - Today
-
If your not sure then it's obviously not, it's because he's a big fat bastard
-
We had to have first team shirt sponsors though
-
Bloke does bathrooms apparently. He's a Tyler.
-
A bucket of fried chicken would probably get the deal over the line.
-
The Sela and Noom deals were possibly lower than they could've got without APT but we done them anyway because it was better than to not have anything
-
I wonder if we included a buy back option when we sold him ?
-
With i hope he dibles his money
-
Someone put a large bet on the move a while back thats why theyre dibling down
-
You don't know what's been tabled or not I keep telling you that. Why would you accept at a lower rate and then have it knocked back again when you try and increase it. APT decision will open everything up. Let's just wait to see what emerges, as there is no hiding place after the APT decision is out. Not long now.
-
And loans to be a maximum of to the next transfer window. Season long loans aren't good for the game.
-
You know they could have put deals forward, had them rejected then accepted at a lower rate - if the deals were coming? 😁

Still waiting for APT to be resolved
