    João Pedro

Caicedo, Cucarella and Sanchez was 175m.
  3. Bunk Moreland

    João Pedro

Hopefully it works out as well for us this time as it did the first time.
  4. Yorkie

    João Pedro

Is it plausible that Chelsea are after him just to stop us from having him? Him and Delap don't exactly scream title challenge, assuming that's their target.

    sunderland

These clowns can spend whatever they like, are the players they are signing any good? If they were any good... would they be signing for Sunderland? Have they one player that you can hang your hat on being a PL standard player?
  6. Optimistic Nut

    João Pedro

Sunderland are about to pay £30m for someone who's just finished 7th in Ligue 1 with less than 100 league games under his belt who'll be in a relegation battle. £50-60m for the finished product who we view as being good enough to finish top 4 seems about right tbh.

    João Pedro

Meltdown imminent Its a follow on from yesterday, let’s not shit the bed yet
  8. Coffee_Johnny

    João Pedro

Palmer is absolutely top notch, in my book. I’d be delighted though if you were right.
  9. JT24

    João Pedro

Quite funny how the club have lost out on him twice in three years. Maybe next time.
  10. Sibierski

    João Pedro

He’s scored like one open play goal in like 25 games I think? Chelsea are not in a great spot IMO, and that will show as the proper games start off next season.
  11. Menace

    João Pedro

Must be nice business for Bloom knowing he will double his money each time Chelsea come calling. Whats that, north of £400M or so they've extracted from Chelsea?
  12. Coffee_Johnny

    João Pedro

Chelsea will be a real force next year. James back to his best, Caicedo is incredible, Palmer pretty much best at what he does and better better, add in Gittens and Pedro (Delap option), plus the other feckers they have. Grim.
  13. madras

    sunderland

How much did Ipswich spend last summer ?
  14. mouldy_uk

    João Pedro

Title change At least we tried…(maybe)
  15. Displayname

    João Pedro

Great news. Lets actually get some value for our money by shopping in continental Europe instead.
  16. Bunk Moreland

    João Pedro

Isn't it the opposite? Chelsea customers hate the club dealing with him because he always extracts maximum value from them.
  17. STM

    João Pedro

The only thing giving me hope is that his info is only coming from the Chelsea end. He hasn't yet said that Pedro has chosen Chelsea. Sadly history suggests we know which way this goes.
  18. Elephant

    João Pedro

I have a feeling we could get much more with that price. And then just buy him next summer from Chelsea for £25m.
  19. macphisto

    Andy Carroll

Dalglish had a great eye for a player. Clouded by us being skint when he came in so we had to hire a few oldies but he's signed some great players over the years. Carroll would be viewed a lot differently without the injuries.
  20. madras

    João Pedro

Is he going to accept less than we offer?
  21. Need to change the title tbh, sounds like we are nowhere near. Romano saying this morning that Chelsea advancing
  22. "On about", "but if","that may". Do you not think there's a reason its designed the way it is, like the champions league ? To maintain the status quo and stop the formation of a breakaway "super league".
  23. Fenham Mag

    João Pedro

I wouldn’t say that is representative of Chelsea fans, honestly despise social media platforms for that.
  24. Exactly this. As long as the gullible & needy keep clicking and sharing the lies, then journo’s will keep pumping out the lies Just ignore the Twatter and the clickbait articles. Don’t click on them Because when you do, you’re simply feeding the beast and the cycle continues Bobby says… Relax, don't do it When you want to go to it Relax, don't do it When you want to click
  25. Sibierski

    João Pedro

More he’ll be delighted as Chelsea will comfortably pay £60m+, which we were clearly reluctant to do (and rightly so). Jokes that for both of the striker options, Chelsea have signed them Not sure who we turn too now, as Delap and Pedro are so different it shows it’s an evolving landscape of who we are targeting. Like do we now go for a lower price ST and big on CM? As Pedro I could’ve seen being more towards CM whilst ticking striker box, whilst Delap was an opportunistic low cost ST and maybe then getting a low cost CM for £25m (a la Ramsey).
