One of his least famous quotes
-
He is a pretty good option, but Brighton will probably ask for a crazy fee something like 65m
-
Aye, like Van Hecke a lot. Good under pressure and as Ghandi says, a real shit house.
-
Sounds like a better idea
-
Would be my first choice CB from the PL, every bit as much of a shithouse as Schar too
-
Yes all just based on that one photo so it’s all true
-
Exactly he’s posed for a photograph momentarily and someone has snapped him. Now he’s the worst bloke in the world
-
He must be desperate if he's shagging her like.
-
Oh my days. That River Plate kit. The hoops on the sleeves. The stash.
-
I remember him being absolutely hopeless when we beat them 4-1 in 2023. Seems to have come good since then though
-
Eales will most likely stay in post until we appoint a new CEO. He'll leave once he's completed his hand over.
-
Yep and not 1 of them will have a clue of the ins and outs of his private life other than what has been written in the press, which is obviously always 100% true.
-
Is there any evidence that he's done anything with the girl from Geordie Shore other than get his photo taken with her? Or is it all just based on that one photo

Paul Mitchell - Leaves Club (Hope); No He Hasn't (Edwards)

Would he be a coup though ? I think I’d just leave Andy Howe and Nickson in charge of recruitment at this point. Think Eddie is old school and likes control of everything in terms of 1st team recruitment, have a feeling the short tenures of Ashworth and Mitchell will make anyone already employed like Ward think twice. We need someone to oversee the academy, youth recruitment and infrastructure such as new training ground, but this role will need to be clearly defined to any candidate and rubber stamped by Howe as it’s clearly not working with a DOF. -
Not a problem then but its about to be a big problem as we will soon have no CEO or Sporting Director. We are 9 days shy of it being 9 months since he announced he was stepping down, im sure he could do without the stress with his health issues and it it wont help our future planning when the CEO and Sporting Director have a foot out the door. All we can hope is that have already appointed and they are working their notice otherwise someone working at that level would probably need to give 4-6 months notice or someone like Brad Miller becomes Interim CEO

Thiago Silva was good for Chelsea, Milner good for Liverpool at 34, Ashley Young doing a job at 39, Vardy, Willian etc

You think the money and close proximity is happenstance? It’s clear as day. I’m not concerned. I said PIF’s primary football focus is not Newcastle United. It is their own league and the World Cup. So their funding FIFAs vanity projects and funding their own league with big names - even if they are from our rivals. PIF has the power to corrupt UEFA and circumvent rules. But they don’t want too. Thats fine. If a European football club was so crucial to their football efforts I think they just do the deal to buy Spurs.

Kieran Trippier. One of the best signings the club has ever made. Some proper world class performances during his time here. Instrumental in keeping us up from January of our first season. The best right back I have seen at the club (since late 80's) and has lifted a trophy for us. From the limited info I have heard good in the dressing room and at top pro. Had a sticky patch but still put some serious performances in last season. Would imagine a wealth of knowledge for Tino and Hall. I know the forum is fun but the above should really be where it ends for us. I really hope he is ok even if some of the things he is doing aren't right (I don't know whether this is right or not but often people doing bad things can be in a bad place and we all need compassion and understanding sometimes and none of us know what is, isn't or has or hasn't gone on) I for one am sorry I criticised his drip. Trippier has given me some great footballing memories. Love the lad.

Yep, the fact they're spending £116m on someone unproven in the PL means any starting point for Isak should be about £130m
-
See the pitch forks are out for a single photograph
-
Going off when he was linked with Liverpool there was talk of £70 million plus.
