Still none the wiser here like, nothing gone out the bank no email saying anything has failed. Good distraction from all the transfer rumours TBF.
-
If we were to go with two up top like he did at Bournemouth, yeah.
-
Top 8 is definitely enough. Just need to see improvement now. We're an easy fanbase to keep on your side. Just don't lose every other game.
-
Not that ridiculous, but still too much for us. I'd take him for £55m.
-
West Ham want £65 million for Kudus.
-
Was kind of thinking you'd need to be loitering around the top 8 or so by then. Long summer ahead as well so maybe too early to say. Don't know what your thoughts are or whether that'll be enough. Edit, as a minimum or whether that's a fast enough improvement, no idea what the expectations are.
-
Wouldn’t mind dropping 50m for Maignan plus either Thiaw or Tomori
-
I don't know why anyone is even negative? Because Mitchell is leaving? A couple of weeks ago we were buzzing for this summer.
-
That would be a great upgrade on Pope. Perhaps worth getting over Trafford for for an immediate Alison esque equivalent for the first team
-
Either way, if it's real, it's the worst kit ever created.
-
He’ll be £60m+ - and Howe is unlikely to blow such a massive chunk of his budget on a second string player.
-
Zero chance we’re paying that sort of money for a back up. Haven’t seen a more obvious non-starter yet.
-
What's a lot to you? If we keep the same league form last this season, then he's gone by October.
-
I like the idea of being able to go 4-2-3-1, or 4-4-2 when Howe thinks it would be appropriate, would make us a lot predictable as well, especially considering Howe can coach a good 5 at the back performance Though if we went with Bruno and Sandro in a 2 man midfield, we'd deffo need the pace at RCB so we can push our defensive line higher, meaning less space for them 2 to defend on their own
-
So Joao Pedro is our Josh King then?
-
Fair point about the versatility. I think they're both excellent players and can't deny I'd have been happy with either plus both could fit into a lot of systems. Last one, before I get back to fretting about my own team, honestly how long do you reckon Amorim gets next season if things don't improve a lot?
-
Think he turned them down as his family wasn't keen, so they won't keep trying.
-
Can't decide if it's a wet window? Concrete? Wacky crocodile print?
-
Yeah, not 100% certain, but perhaps they mix in one striker lineups at times. And also make use of Osula and Wilson at times too.
-
I don't think we should freak out even if in mini window we sign no one. However playing devil's advocate if we had thrown out hats into 2 or 3 that have now seemingly signed for other teams where they the top targets? Where they the players Howe alluded to in need to act quickly on? If so could be seen as bad as you now working your way down the target list. Howe goes on about small pool of players albeit not this window specially so where does it leave us? Buying after those have spent may lead to less competition from teams who already spunked their loads but we know it doesn't work that way.
-
Surely snide.
-
Quite right on Schar but he went from an eye on the exit door to playing out of his skin in a matter of weeks. Yes Eddie binned Shelvey but he got a decent tune out of him whilst he was here. With that away game at Leeds being a key early victory.
-
This will be nonsense, thankfully. He’s rubbish.
