Reprehensible quotes, he should be ashamed.
-
Man Utd get the helping hand they needed and Bournemouth aren’t inconvenienced for the next three games. Everyone wins (sort of).
-
Only quotes I can see... “People should realise what they did to Roma,” Postecoglou said. “They did it in Rome as well. “They grabbed my attention back then – before we knew we were going to play them. “They have an outstanding manager and they play an aggressive, expansive style of football. It should be a cracking game. “We are in a heavy schedule of games but at the same time, we are in a good moment. We’re in good form, players are fit. “Bodo are similar to us when we go in to our Champions League qualifiers as they are in pre-season mode at the minute. That could potentially work both ways. We have the match sharpness, but they could have a freshness about them. “I’ve got no doubt they will both be cracking games because of the way they play – and we won’t change our approach. “We are heading to the Arctic Circle so even the Scottish weather will go out of the window. “That’s the beauty of European football. For me as a manager, that’s what gets the adrenaline pumping. Testing yourselves in different conditions against different teams and different types of set ups. “Going in to the Conference League, we can test ourselves against some great clubs. “Bodo/Glimt have been Norwegian champions these last two years and they play aggressive, expansive football. “I can’t wait for it.”

Anybody take Soucek from West Ham, if he was available given their rumoured PSR predicament? Still got a couple of years on his contract, so don’t think he’d be ‘bargain’ territory, unless they needed to sell for the June deadline, like us with Anderson/Minteh. Also, not really a great age profile given we’re probably looking to push the average squad age down. On the positive side I could see him being very useful squad player. Good size and physicality that Howe likes. Maybe someone who could cover (to a degree) what Joelinton gives us better than our current backups?

Surely there's no way Postecoglu said that. I can't find a reference to it anywhere. While Postecoglu can be a bit combative in interviews with the media, he's usually fairly respectful to other clubs and managers.
-
Surely they'll return as front of shirt sponsor next season too, if only for the 'Return of DAMAC' headlines.
-
Our new RW maybe could fill in up front if required
-
Transparency would help as well. Did they even acknowledge the slip for example. I know rugby is a different sport but there are some very subjective calls to make on head shots these days. Often you'll see the on field officials and TMO discuss various factors, this would be a classic case of it looks bad but there are mitigating factors. They don't always get it right of course but the transparency helps IMO.

As long as Chelsea are liable to cover the insurance claims for anyone dying in their Chelsea bedrooms I’m happy with the PSR arrangement. What a farce. I’d just kick Chelsea out of the league, they’re no longer a football club. They’re just a brand with a partner club at this stage

DAMAC is all "style" but zero sense. They literally had a condo where you could drive your car into an elevator and it would take the car up to your bedroom. Never thought that perhaps having car exhaust fumes in the place you sleep may not be the greatest idea.

£150k a week after a decent season in the Prem. Some muggy team will give it to him as well.
-
Going to the screen has become a complete waste of time. It’s literally just pantomime entertainment that slows the game down for another couple of minutes (at least). Either referees need to start developing the confidence to stay with their original decision (where appropriate obviously) or just scrap it and go with what the VAR decides, and if it’s wrong it’s on them.
-
I suppose you're just advertising that development.

Just another item in the game of oneupmanship which rich people love to play - at our expense i might add.
-
Edit just answered my own question
-
Sounds absurdly grim
-
Have a feeling he is gonna score a crucial late goal to send us to Champs League glory.
-
Branded condos are all the rage in the UAE believe it or not.
-
DAMAC just builds gaudy themed real estate projects for people with a bit of money but no taste. There’s a DAMAC building in Jeddah that was built a few years ago where everything in it is Versace; tables, carpets, the lot. Awful. The place is falling apart now and literally stinks of piss. Very on brand for Chelsea I suppose.

Chelsea Residences in Dubai? What the fuck does it even mean
-
Surely this is all completely legit and above board for 4 games, won't be anything untoward no no.
-
It is a joke, anyone with half a brain can see what has happened. Two officials have managed to convince the ref that he was wrong. Again I would love to have heard the audio on this one. I have no sympathy for the ref he should have had the balls to disagree with VAR.
