Looks like he's going to be the first one 'over the line'
-
If the budget is limited, it would be crazy imo to allocate £30m of it for another goalkeeper. The squad urgently needs strengthened in other areas.
-
Can't see either of them sitting on the bench. No matter what game time they might be promised. It's either or for me.
-
Hope we can get him for 25m with addons like getting into CL again after the coming season.
-
Do none of you know how to use your washers Cold wash inside out, in a wash bag if you have one, with no fabric conditioner.
-
Apparently the admins wear this when they clock on for their shift.
-
All the stories suggest no, but this would be a poor decision imo.
-
If one explored one's washing machine settings, one might find a hand wash option therein.
-
You might celebrate but I'm Dominic Calvert-Bewin if it means we keep Wilson.
-
If we sign Trafford are we selling Pope then?
-
Would not be surprised if we didn't actually sign anyone until the 1st July, though most probably all will be in hand by that date, reasoning being that, we will improve our psr by ditching another previous poor financial season.
-
Please post the source for this.

I refuse to believe talks haven't already taken place if we are to believe he is a long term target. So this news probably just means we are closing in on a conclusion.
-
I'm guessing we have between 120-150m to spend before sales. That gets you Trafford Elanga and Jao Pedro. Is that enough? Personally I don't think it improves the first 11 to be enough. We have what sounds like a lot of money but in this market it's not actually that much.

The Flat Cap Arena works for me

Trafford - in talks
-
As long as it isn't Ladbrokes I'm not that bothered.
-
To bastardize that quote; "I'd ask him if he wanted another blanket".
-
My snide arrives tomorrow. Hoping it is decent but the gamble is worth it for £11.

It’s difficult to say what motivates all individual players but you’re not wrong that money is a big one, always. I think where I’m a bit unclear is what is “affordable”. My understanding is that we are able to afford some expensive players now. I’d certainly hope so after such a long period of inactivity and as the quid-pro-quo of having to put up with such morally grotesque owners. I am happy and excited to be proven wrong, but what I see again is another early summer with little back room certainty. Id hope we could at least afford 1 or 2 ready to go players (ie not purchased for potential). As to your other parameters that’s fair enough, but surely we’ve been planning for this situation for a long time… Before a chorus of “bedwetting” remarks, to be clear I don’t think there’s much cause to worry right now, but I’d have a bit of a funny feeling if nobody is in by start of July. To my mind it’s important to get them in early pre-season.

So Bruno has been chatting with Pedro, and Isak has been chatting with Elanga. I wanna know who Tonali might be chatting to.

I think that’s a bit of an over-simplification, and I don’t remember complaining about inflated prices. The prices are inflated because of who we are, where we finished and where we want to go. At some point, yes, I think we have to bite the bullet.
