Don’t think they will be too worried personally, this is what Monchi and to some degree Emery do.
-
It's become such a weird fixture this one over the last couple of years in that whoever wins has won comfortably but in the long run it hasn't negatively impacted either team . We just need to write this one off and move on.
-
So based on what Villa and Forest have done on loan ins etc, should we of done similar or are we at a massive disadvantage due to our ownership.
-
Not sure we can win a game we aren’t involved in
-
Krafth is fine as a back up right back, emergency CB, the others I agree with completely.
-
Think the Osula and Hall situations are completely different tbh. Honestly think Osuala was a bit of a punt and he is nowhere near being good enough for us. I’d be amazed if he doesn’t go on loan next season.
-
Bringing in four players made a big difference. We are easing Gordon back you would think after his injury, but it is concerning that there is no confidence in bringing other players in the squad to make fresh changes after 3 games in 6 days. We should certainly be looking to move on Longstaff, Willock, Target, Krafth and Wilson this Summer. Miley and Osula are young, but it's noticeable that Miley is not getting much game time even coming on as a substitute. Osula we will see next season I presume as the same questions were being asked about Hall last season.
-
He's not effective on the right and it's absolutely shit having to accommodate Gordon when Barnes deserves his position.
-
34 year old looks gassed after playing 3 games in a week Mind blowing!
- Today

I think we have a good window as we can finally buy players after what feels like forever. Just not sure we get everything we need without selling someone. One of the byproducts of this dog shit ffp regime is everyone is all targeting the same profile which has pushed prices all the way up.
-
He'll get one now, 1 game a week for the next 5 weeks 3 of them at home.
-
I'm convinced we'll have a good window, Isak to Liverpool would devastate me though especially if the Saudis fund it by buying Nunez.
-
I think pretty much everyone has been saying this forever. I can't think of anyone on the board that doesn't think that the squad needs to be developed.
-
We could do with Fulham, Ipswich, Spurs winning, plus Leicester and Wolves just for a laugh.
-
This summer is obviously absolutely huge. We have a lot we need to do and I don't think we will get everything we need. I hope we are active early and don't leave stuff until late in the window.
-
I've always been of the opinion that we need a creative midfielder. Someone who can dictate the game in the middle of the park. Our midfield currently either dominates the opposition midfield or at times are totally dominated. Strange one to fathom as they have dominated the midfield of the two top teams, so you can't say it's due to a step up in quality. Long answer just to say I agree.
-
It was a £400k punt. At best it pays off, at worst it's a few weeks wages for one of our players. Wouldn't surprise me if he does semi decent in la Liga or Portugal tbh
-
He was wheezing after 30 mins. Clearly needs a breather.

Wether people think that, or not, we're down to one game a week now. Any tiredness, perceived or otherwise, should be manageable. -

Got to make this one count. With City playing Villa, 3 points would mean we are the same points gap as before today's game with either City or Villa depending on who wins. A draw would mean a 3 point gap to City and 4 point gap to Villa, with only 4 games to play. If one team is to win, then I would prefer City. My reason is that Villa's PSR is starting to bite them according to reports, stating that they may have to sell players this summer. Oh and there fans are cunts also. -
Contract extension incoming!
-
Shit happens!! We moved On.
-
Indeed and it's exactly when he should have been sold. Thankfully Kelly and Miggy sales has told me we've learnt our lesson.
-
It’s just sad because not too long ago Wilson was playing his best football of his career scoring key goals for us to help secure 4th. Just really hurts to see him this way. Love the guy.

Leggy performance. Villa had the extra day's rest and brought in 4 fresh outfield players vs 0 changes for us. We started the same XI for the 7th game in a row and the third time in a week. In that situation we were never going to match their intensity. We failed to adapt our tactics to compensate. I thought we would sit deep, deny space in behind and play on the break. Instead we pressed high up the pitch with a high line which was the type of game Villa wanted.
