I’m getting frustrated with our approach to this to be honest. We sold two top talents and bought a useless keeper to comply with these regulations last summer. It’s a choice by our owners to not exploit these loopholes. -
They only got 55m yikes very little value from a powerful card.
-
About £10m if we’re lucky. Until we get it into the WSL there’s little value in selling.
-
£55 million. Winder how much ours is worth.
-
-
And we sold Maradona for peanuts
-
American Cartel bastards
-
What a fuckin farce. It’s well within the rules but makes me so angry we had to sell Anderson and Minteh while them and Chelsea just sell something that doesn’t impact the men’s team in the slightest
-
?, I'm not sure what the comment is about when I am only chucking daft posts to keep the thread ticking over?
-
Another one bites the dust

I do find this stuff quite funny, as long as they don’t do it to us. They’ll do the same with Saliba who has 2 years left on his contract.
-
Ornstein Aston Villa agree deal to sell women’s team to holding company V Sports & a stake to prominent US-based investors.
-
The quality in the PL mid pack is being gutted by the top 6. It’s a shame. (we are in danger of being left behind - these lot are building super teams)
-
Because he is expensive and not good enough.
-
They make a lot of money on sales. The scatter gun approach is nuts no doubt but it can work if you're able to recoup most of it on 'duds'. Man City aren't too dissimilar.
-
Arsenal want Eze
-
That'd be a good signing.

Came across this Fowler goal vs. Brann on Insta. What a touch

True. But it’s not like they are signing supposed world beaters and suddenly y their careers go off track like Alexis Sanchez or Torres. Tosin could’ve joined us. He would’ve been in England contention - maybe. But has he really lost out? -

Maybe a bit simplistic, we can't really know which of these players would've good enough if they'd gone somewhere with a route into the first team. -
Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

This forum is very black and white - obviously. Amanda made some mistakes and suboptimal moves. This is one of them. She’s not the only one mind and a big part of it is bad luck. Without the injuries in his final season, does Anderson kick on earlier? At the very least he increases his value. She also had a lot of successes. Major ones. All of her successes directly led to 2 CL positions and a cup within 4 years of the takeover. Amanda was a massive net positive for Newcastle United. Massive. She is missed by me. There criticism to take and be shared on this - fair. It makes her human. She did a wonderful Job.
