  2. All of our players are available for purchase - it’s all a question of other clubs being able to afford them. The Sky Six have always traded players amongst themselves - our income is dwarfed by theirs, so if they come in with the right money then the player is off. I think Man City - if they’re interested enough - will pay what it takes. If we get close to double what we paid, the lad is off (the £100m valuations on here notwithstanding, obviously). The lad looks much better at LB than he does at RB, but he’s not our best LB. I couldn’t give much of a shite as long as all of the money (more importantly headroom) is available for Howe to spend - which it will be. And if the lad goes, it’s the manager’s call. I’ve no idea where this idea that we don’t sell our players comes from - every club sells their players. If we are actually going to get to where the ownership claimed, there is a real chance that none of the current squad are there when we do.
  3. J7

    Tino Livramento

They’ve not made any secret of saying that they’d be needing to trade and sell players to keep building.
  4. We don’t need to sell, but we won’t exactly have a bumper budget if we don’t.
  5. Selling Tino to City would be completely nuts
  6. PRL

    Tino Livramento

Blows my mind that folk are obsessing over the flexibility of forward players and in next sentence think losing the most flexible defender we have is okay. I would struggle to argue selling Tino, only Isak and Tonali would be higher up the unsellables for me
  7. I thought Howe wanted to keep this team together. Are we just a selling club again bad move selling Livramento to one of our rivals,
  8. If the reports are to be believed then we don't need to sell, even if we are to have an active summer we don't need to sell So I absolutely don't want him to be sold, the price it would take that we couldn't reject is a price no one would be prepared to pay There may well come a time where we need to sell a purple to allow us to go again, at that stage I'd reluctantly allow him to go but until such a time we absolutely should be looking to keep him
  9. duo

    Tino Livramento

Irreplaceable - not a RB in the league with his versatility
  10. shorty

    Tino Livramento

Would be gutted if he left like no doubt but probably easier to replace defenders as opposed to isak or tonali imo.
  11. By winning the cup Ange effectively highlighted his limitations. He cant do anything in competitions involving top teams, but can win cups populated exclusively by second and third rate ones. Ergo he's no use to them this side of the next Europe League/Conference League campaign, which he'd be sacked for qualifying for anyway.
  12. Displayname

    João Pedro

With a new RW there is little reason for him to be pushed out there anymore. And even with Eddie favouring Gordon there should be plenty of game time next season. Atleast you would hope he has learned to rotate a bit more after the last CL campaign. Really like the idea of Barnes coming on the last 30mins after the defender(s) get tired trying to keep up with Gordon.
  13. Being able to complain about Gordon being brilliant and scoring against us (after they’ve said they’re happy to sell him) is an absolute dream scenario for some. They’d shoot themselves in the foot so they can moan about being in pain.
  14. Wondering if Mitchell may have recommended Vanderson of Monaco, if we did lose Tino it would need to be a huge fee, the only other right back I rate is Munoz of Palace but he's the wrong age, and recently signed with palace until 2028
  15. Hard disagree on this one. Gordon from the 23/24 season could get in almost anywhere.
  16. Jonas

    sunderland

In fairness to them I recognised, or at least figured out he was one of their players, turns out I thought the name Dan Neil (if that is who it is) went with what must be O'Nein's face and this blokes face went with the name of the lad they sold to Ipswich....Sunluns a massive club
  17. Also, I don't think a Spurs with Mbeumo does particularly much. Which is good.
  18. I’d sell him for £70-80m, but we aren’t going to get that after this season.
  19. Today
  20. Also buzzing about the idea of getting Pedro, really wanted an attacking midfielder-sort with a high ceiling Him and Isak in the same 11 would be a nightmare for any team in Europe imo, then add in the pace on the wings, our industrious midfield.. Probably shouldn't get ahead of myself, smokescreen, £50m budget etc.
  21. I think Gordon is absolutely class, and want to keep him (FFP fuckery aside), but I don't think he's good enough for a team who genuinely should be competing for the PL and CL every season
  22. Barca? £2.7b in debt apparently. Still going...
  23. He was my favourite player and I think our most important player in 23/24, its the seeming drop in commitment and the terrible body language which happened to coincide with talk of a move to Liverpool. He completely won me over, I didn't dislike him, liked his fight, just didnt think he was all that good. He hasn't seemed happy to be here this year, like he wished he got a move and it seems like its on his mind. Would love to see him committed again, not many like him when he is. Drags the team with him by force of will when he wants it.
  24. Could see scousers coming in for Gordon if Diaz goes, but wouldn’t want Barnes as first choice on the left next season. Selling Gordon is only an option if we’ve got a top drawer replacement lined up.
  25. Yeah. I don't want to lose Tino at any cost really. We are still a year or two away from shahar coming up. He is irreplaceable. Hall and Tino have us covered for a decade. I doubt they both stay that long but they cover us until we have real depth coming through the academy regularly.
