I actually think I would rather Sunderland come up than Sheffield United (Though it'll still be hilarious if they lose at Wembley), Sheffield United are just so boring, they'll finish last next season, with around 20 points, for the their third consecutive top flight season. Its very depressingly predictable for them, whereas atleast Sunderland will have something about them, even if its just the nerves of two Derby games.

To be fair diagnosing internal trauma pitch side when the player says he's fine and he just appears winded is not anyone's fault. Dude was probably high on adrenaline and felt fine. Hopefully he recovers. He's in ITU, so whatever it is would be fatal. Just seen it's post surgery - this is normal procedure. Ruptured spleen causes massive internal bleeding. Ruptured intestine can lead to massive bleeding and nasty infections.

It would to them though. We'd never hear the end of it. It would go down as their most famous ever victory against us given the chasm between the 2 clubs. Plus if they go up there's a chance they coukd get bought by someone who doesn't need to use his parents pocket money to run them.
-
I get people saying they're not arsed if they come up but I can't imagine any of their bigger names sticking around too long if they don't make it this season. Some random French Ligue 1 club will be in for Le Piss surely.

The Europeometerâ„¢ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
Groundhog63 replied to Rich's topic in Football
European qualification discussions are like an "Indecisive Dave" sketch from the Fast show, imho 😂😂😂 Not saying who's more Dave like 😉 -
I get what you're saying but these lot are great at "resetting" They'll already be promoted now in some of their minds.
-
Watching the footage of the attendees last night I couldn't help asking, out loud, "how tf can so many people from barely 9 miles down the road look so fucking ill?" "breeding" came her retort We're supposed to be woke as well, shameful.
-
English is not my first language, so my apologies. I didn't mean there was anything wrong with the celebrations. I was just thinking that it might take the air out of the balloon, or it could of course give them a huge lift. I guess we'll see next week.
-
I might have worded myself poorly. I did say it was perfectly understandable, and there was nothing wrong with it, but I'm unsure if they can reset and be emotionally right for the playoff final.
-
There’s some bad takes about celebrating wins sometimes. But you can’t police someone last minute winning in a semi final at home to potentially get promoted as much as they should have lost
-
He'd be a deputy Joelinton imo where Miley is more of a deputy Bruno. Shame he is right footed though. Although he's probably spent the whole season defending and that's hiding some of his more progressive talents. Another one worth looking at it Fatawu at Leicester. He got injured early in the season but I thought he looked good in the games he played. Another LW though 😂 He carries the ball well. Decent crosser.

From Oddschecker. I still can't understand how Chelsea are shorter than Villa for top five. For that to happen then Chelsea surely have to win both of their games (without a striker), and in my opinion their games are much harder than Villa's.
-
I reckon we will be on for Fernandez from Southampton.
-
The weekly "... In peace" thread just popped up. I would definitely be making that thread after my team gets knocked out in a semi final on the last minute, at 4am too.
-
He was absolutely horrid for Leeds mind
-
Disagree, they’ve won a trip to Wembley and a chance of promotion with the last kick of the game.
-
No bites = no fun.
-
Also, @healthyaddiction Isak played 8 games in Europe that season, scoring 0. Hojlund played 6 games in the Champions League and scored 5. So...
-
Didn't expect a bite from you. I expected better Frogster
-
Is Mateus Fernandes good enough to contribute now? Or would it be similar to Miley / our current CM depth where we don't really trust the bench / drop off is significant
-
He joined 24 other players who scored 17+ goals at 21 or under in La Liga. Last season Hojlund joined 25 other players who scored 10+ at 21 or under in the Premier League, and that was his first season in the league and he missed 8 games due to injury.
-
The emotional outbursts at the end there was understandable, but way over the top for winning the semi final. They have some time to reset before the final, but I think they lose that. Even if they get promoted, they will have a season in the prem on par with Southampton this year.

He doesn’t work that hard and he’s not a RW.
