They have a profit of nearly £5 million when you take into account the 15% sell on fee and the fee of around £20 million for Le Fee. They have also sold Watson for £11 million, so a £16 million sales profit. However, as I have said before, they will have had to pay increased wages and bonuses to players, for achieving promotion. Ipswich were reported to have paid out £16 million last season, so I would say in all probability, Sunderland will be paying out very similar to what Ipswich did. £16 million profit sales - £16 million to players = £0, so basically no money made and already two players down

Think Grealish could still be a very good player but his off field partying means he’s probably close to done as a footballer
-
Grealish isn't crap like, pep has shackled the lad so much that he gives off the appearance of been past it. If he wanted to come to us I'd be happy to take him there is quality in him still just need the shackles off and let him play like he used too. Could play both wings or behind the striker.
-
Jobe Bellingham's transfer may give them a slim chance of avoiding relegation, think I'll entertain the bookies see what price I can get.
-
There has been some pretty solid discussion about the key reason Qatar haven’t bought us yet being Levy wanting to stay on and run the place.
-
I'm also Swedish and think Elanga is an ok player. Kind of the same as Murphy but with more speed. Not worth £50-60M though.
-
Maybe Howe is trying to adapt his system or at least have an alternative. I think we got to a point last season where teams would sit back in our home games and let us pass the ball sideways until they were able to intercept and break on us. Is grealish or sane the ones who can offer something else?
-
This is RTG tier of bitter
-
Record outgoing fee? Mags greyn with envy, marra.
-
Levy is too tight otherwise Spurs could have got on the cartel gravy train. He's a slightly higher tier version of Mike Ashley sadly for you. I think Sir Jim Ratshit is the Man U version FWIW.
-
It's not his age, just don't see how he would fit a Howe system which is high energy and fast movement. I think we can carry one player like Bruno who is not the quickest, don't think we could add Grealish to the mix. That's without even getting into the motivation or professionalism angle.
-
Suppose it depends on if you think we’re a cartel club: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14788893/Spurs-pluck-defeat-jaws-victory-sacking-Ange-Postecoglou-writes-OLIVER-HOLT-joy-magic-night-Bilbao-lost.html?ns_mchannel=rss&ito=1490&ns_campaign=1490 https://m.allfootballapp.com/amp/news/EPL/OLIVER-HOLT Nuno-Espirto-Santos-Tottenham-are-now-a-team-of-forgotten-men/2699905 Maybe he’s just a cunt

One of the nicest blokes in football isn't he?
-
That was the point I was making.
-
29 going on 30 isnt old for a motivated and highly professional player see Trippier and Burn when they signed. Its just I don't think Grealish has the motivation or dedication to get back to the levels hes capable of.
-
Nice windfall for Brum & team Bellingham.
-
"Fat yet emaciated" - Ashley's Newcastle United.
-
Insane fee for Jobe considering Dortmund don't really splash the cash so fair play to them
-
Nice windfall for them. Too bad no-one with a pulse will want to join them.

Who exactly is jealous of them signing this young promising player? Joao Pedro is one that I really think we need for many reasons. Not some unproven. Regarding other cases. Some people laugh at other clubs signings, some rate some of them. What’s so unnatural about it? And not everyone bashes every signing we make. Like you make it sound. There will always be people complaining about players, also players they haven’t seen. And praise players they haven’t really seen. Just the way football is.

Its lazy journalism at its finest. He's crap.

The Grealish rumour seems counter to all our normal transfers - Past it - "Big Six" cast off - Loan (with no obligation to buy) and no doubt a large loan fee - Basically a corpse at this point (29 going on 30).
