  1. Past hour
  2. Aha yeah that makes sense. Thanks both.
  3. Just make the shirt black and white. Its not that difficult..
  4. Or until they realise their cash cows are now getting pasted twice a season by us, we’re winning every cup in sight, signing all the top players and still taking post match win photos and there’s nothing they can do about it.
  5. The media still think its 10 years ago, hence they link Isak to Man Utd with a straight face. Until the media is flooded with ex-Newcastle United people it will stay the same.
  6. The 'marrative' when we beat a big team e.g. PSG, Arsenal, Liverpool: "Team X are nothing special, we'd give them game" The 'marrative' when we beat run of the mill PL opponents: "The standard of PL is shocking, we're a much bigger club than Team X, we'd be comfortably midtable in this years PL" The 'marrative' when they lose to some pish team like Oxford, QPR or Stoke: "We're not good enough marra, sack the manager, sack the board, sell every player except O'9 for 20 million each" We couldn't have been blessed with better rivals.
  7. With the daylight rule, could you just extend your arm backwards to ensure there’s no gap, while staying goal side of the defender? Big advantage for lanky bastards like myself. Could get a couple of feet ahead.
  8. Last successful black back was 11/12, which says it all I think.
  9. I would also like that but it wouldn’t stop the media linking Isak away.
  10. bbc pushing the Arsenal in for Isak lazy link again would really love it if we finished ahead of Arsenal just so then it would genuinely be seen as a step down
  11. A black back won't liken us to any other particular team. A white back though, we look like Fulham, Leeds, heck even Brighton nowadays. #BlackBackMatters
  12. They turn the dial on their importance and size to suit their batshit mental narratives. The Maktracking usually goes like this: Start of game Club X only ever get a decent crowd in Stadium Y when Sunderland play there because we're a massive club and everyone wants to be there when we're in town and we're like a cup final to them and they want to see our world class generational talent End of game Look at all them pathetic Club X fans jumping about and celebrating in Stadium Y just because they've beaten little old Sunderland who were in League 1 a couple of seasons ago and most of our players are inexperienced young kids
  13. Guler Kubo Lee-Kang in That profile we really need for RW - would be happy with any of those. Would be our David Silva type. Roony Bardhji would be a good Minteh style player. Would be nice to have options on that side as we've got like 5 LW options. Having the ability to go 4-2-3-1 would be useful in some games, would love a CF who can play in that 10 spot behind the striker. Could be Isak if we get David or vice versa.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I have no problem with the majority of the good people of Denmark.
  15. All the "little" clubs in League 1 did look forward to watching their team play at the Stadium of Light, very much so. I mean who wouldn't? Train upto Newcastle or fly upto Newcastle. Stay in one of the many city centre hotels in Newcastle. Metro down to trampsville for the match. Nice easy draw Metro back to Newcastle to celebrate the away point in a vibrant, friendly city. What's not to like!?
  16. If we had a black back I reckon we would all just say the shirt looks too black and not black and white enough. I also prefer it though.
  17. It must be like when Arbroath would play Queen's Park at Hampden Park in a league game or something daft soon.
  18. Maybe Graham Carr is secretly working for them He was damn good at that stuff Cabaye - 4.8m Sissoko - 2m Demba Ba - free Ridiculous

This "everyone's cup final" thing is a bit daft, cup finals are played at Wembley. They were more like "everyone's drawing a higher league team in a bigger stadium in a cup draw" for a bit until the novelty wore off.
  20. Were they though? I just remember them being a much of a muchness team down there. Didn't really do anything of note and only eventually got out of it via the Play offs. They hardly swept the league away like Birmingham just have.
