Paul Mitchell - Leaves Club (Hope); No He Hasn't (Edwards)

The proof is 2 high profile DOF leaving within 24 months, pretty strong evidence that the job hasn’t been as advertised. -
Aye Groundhog, when I zoom in I can see matching shorts...
-
Hopefully it is that (quite possible), and we are actually in the process of sorting out a new contract with him. There’ll be devastation in the SSN studio if and when he does sign one.

Do you think Ashworth would have left if he was happy in his role ? there were plenty of reports that he thought the job wasn’t as advertised and he didn’t have the autonomy to make the decisions he wanted, Joelintons contract being one well reported example. -
I find this a pretty lazy narrative. I'm not sure where it has come from? But why do you think Howe wants to be involved with everything? He has final say, surely thats enough.

4th season in a row now with the green/white or white/green theme. Pretty obvious then that PIF have insisted on a Saudi coloured strip every year from now on then. Pretty grim and on one hand I think if Ashley had forced a red, white and blue Sports Direct kit we would have all been kicking off. But on the other, they are the owners and they could be complete twats and rebrand us completely including changing the home kit to Saudi green + white, so in that regard I'm probably grateful it's only the away strip that is effected, and until now the first few weren't awful.

Forgot about him tbh. Still not better than Guehi though.
-
Romano linking a player to a big club while he’s negotiating a bumper new contract? Gasp. Standard agent mouthpiece shit imo.
-
Ashworth didn't leave because of Eddie did he ? He was chased and wanted by Man Utd, to link Ashworth leaving to Eddie is disingenuous a tad, don't you think ?
-
The lad Bournemouth have just sold ?

Chris Wilder gone. -
It’s accounts talking shit imo. They’ve moved on with the constant “linking” him to Arsenal.. to now Liverpool. Probably be Chelsea next
-
No centre-back signed to a PL team last season is better than Guehi. Milenkovic (sp?) at 12m was the best deal but he’s not a better player imo.
-
Not entertaining the Isak stuff. Not clicking on any of it. He’s not going anywhere.
-
It’s a nonsense link tbh, unless they sell a fair few players. They’ve just spunked a fortune on Wirtz and Kerkez, not to mention the fact that re-signing Salah and VVD will have cost them a pretty penny, do they have the headroom to offer the kind of fee to even get us considering their offer this summer? Dont get me wrong if Isak doesn’t sign a new deal, I’ll be bricking it next summer. But we are in the driving seat this year
-
Georgia Gibson has signed for Chester le Street women. What a signing for them.
-
These Isak rumours can fuck off like, i think i would vomit if i saw him in a Liverpool shirt.
-
So much so that he was sent off for losing his rag?
-
Rob Edwards to Middlesbrough
-
To be fair we were willing to pay 60m for Geuhi last window, take pace out of the equation and Van Hecke is a much, much better player
-
Tripps is clearly not the paragon of virtue I always like to imagine my footballing heroes to be, but we're not employing him to be a righteous, celibate, trappist monk, as long as he's not doing anything illegal and he's a valuable asset to the club, I couldn't care what he gets up to in his spare time. That said, his clothes are gimpy as fuck and Chloe Ferry has enough plastic just in her lips to choke a sea turtle. She occupies the grey area between humans and space hoppers. FWIW, I went to school with Chloe Ferry's brother. He was as thick as a whale omelette, the lads at his boxing club convinced him to eat a tin of dog food by telling him it was a good source of protein.

Feel like Staveley was the glue. I like the idea of having a DOF, especially one with a track record of buying the JP's, Hjuisens, Caceidos before they've been coached and showcased in a premier league team. Shame whoever pushed Staveley out won that battle. The way Mitchell came in was so antagonistic and unprofessional. Can't imagine anyone coming in saying that, but to do so he'd have to have been told Eddie's going to be gone soon and we'll have total decision making power. Could have been a great thing. Our signings have very good, but to compete now, we need a good few Caceido type signings. I'll never understand why we spent all last summer on Guehi when other teams signed better defenders for less than half.

It's in my top 3. 1) “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” 2) “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” 3) "He's a real shithouse"
