We can (though the contract has to be signed on the 1st), but let's be honest when do we announce signings until the contract is signed. We have seen it take 3 or 4 days before an announcement, even when we know the player has had his medical - look at Botman. We don't do things quickly in terms of signing players.

It's the 13th of June, we don't restart the season next week, we don't even return to pre season for a month or so, I don't want to be harsh with my words but it's honestly bordering on moronic.
